Intriguing little deli with an interesting history offering up decent sandwiches, though they felt just a bit overpriced. The location can be a little disturbing as it appears to stand in the middle of a war zone. Tweekers and crackheads linger in just about crevice and corner so keep your wits about you in this part of town that St Joseph forgot.
This was on our list of must visits when we were in St. Joseph. Hubby went there years ago. It was a wonderful late lunch treat. The owner is a cool guy and the cooks were fun to talk to while they did their thing. Best BBQ pulled pork ever and the turkey club was great. We'll definitely be back.
Best kept secret of Saint Joseph. Food was phenomenal, affordable, and made from scratch. The owner was friendly, jovial, and knew most of his patrons by name. What a lovely lunch ?
