My favorite coffee Roastery shop in town. I always pick up a bag or two when I’m in town. If you buy a bag you get a free drip coffee of the day. Today was a medium roast from Guatemala. I love the covered outside seating, music is always great. Fantastic place to relax and enjoy great coffee, good place for friends. In the evening it is a cocktail bar though I have not tried it as such. Definitely a place you will enjoy, especially their coffee.

Mokaska’s is a warm, inviting, loving establishment in the heart of St. Joseph. Their drinks are amazing, but what makes them my favorite is their open and affirming welcome of all.
This afternoon, I was fortunate to bring my father to this magical place. He and I do not share ideological beliefs, and so I learned a long time ago to not argue. Instead, I look for places that contain glimmers of the flourishing human life and bring him to visit.
I can’t know what seeds were planted today, but as my father looked around in curiosity I saw him wondering… and that’s as good as a beginning as I can hope for these days.
Our world, and the St. Joseph community, are better because Mokaska’s exists.

Mokaska is a delightful coffee shop that truly cares about their product and provides quality service.
I really enjoy their Ethiopian roast, as it’s very flavorful and fragrant. The other day I asked for a pour over and the staff realized they were out up front and another went to the back to check if there was more sitting around. When another staff member came in and confirmed they were out, I was asked if I would like to pick something else off the menu, and was glad to do so. However, the other staff member not only checked in the back and confirmed they were out, they roasted a fresh serving just for me! I already had my replacement drink and was almost out the door, but the willingness to assist their customers was paramount. I’d recommend this team to anyone.

I visited there for the first time yesterday and was delighted. My iced chai latte was perfect and the staff was so friendly and helpful as I wasn’t sure what to try! I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Awful. $7 for 2 ounce pour of cheap wine. Brought to server’s attention and she smugly replied that’s how she was taught. Coffee is weak but good. Biggest ripoff imaginable. Plenty of other better places nearby.

We were in St Joe a few weeks ago for a concert and stopped here for coffee. It was amazing! The coffee,the service,the atmosphere-all top notch! I bought a bag of Sumatran beans and having my first cup this morning and I must say-it’s the BEST coffee I’ve had in ages! So I came to the website to order more and was so disappointed to see that you don’t sell them….oh well…we will be back soon!
