I sat down at the vintage Knabe grand piano and played. It is an amazing instrument. It was one of the best pianos on the market when it was new. It needs a little work to restore it to like-new condition. I'm a professional piano technician and tuner with three years training in piano rebuilding and antique piano restoration. I would gladly do the work it needs if someone will order the replacement parts it is missing. All it needs to be restored would be to order the right support struts for the pedal lyre and secure it tightly to the underside of the keybed. With that done it will be as good as new. It was a $6,750 piano when it was new. Restored it would be worth $2,600. They don't know how valuable a piano they have.

I love this place! I am here once or twice a week since I work nearby, and it is such a cozy place to hang out, talk, and feel very included. My friends and I feel like place is a safe space to relax and be comfortable. The staff are incredible (shout out to Ro and Sprite!) and I have never felt so welcome at an establishment.

Sandwich and potato soup came out to $13 (including tax and tip)! I particularly enjoyed the soup, the service, and the atmosphere, and enjoyed reading as I ate. Would come back!

Nice and tucked away coffee shop with off street parking. They have good prices and are generous with their caffeine pours. There are ample tables and options of books and board games to enjoy if you don't bring your own. They also had an all day breakfast menu and lunch options to enjoy.

Anchor Room Coffee is unique place. I loved the people who worked there. This place employs individuals who may not get work anywhere else. They are very professional and loving. I had a NicoLatte which is a salted caramel latte with cherry flavor in it. It's named after a volunteer who worked there. This place has a purpose. Please support the business.
