We came here for our anniversary dinner. The food was spectacular, we can not explain how good it is. The service was fantastic, our waitress was on top of everything. She made it a great time!

This place was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with excellent service. The food was amazing, and the servers were attentive and accommodating. They even gave us a cake to celebrate my wife and I anniversary! Do yourself a favor and have your next meal at Carnivore!

Food and Service were great. We were able to get a table on a Friday evening at 6:30 without a wait. The prices are high but the quantity is good. My only complaint is the design of the seating area is all hard surfaces so even with a half empty room you can't hear the conversation at your own table.

We have been wanting to check Carnivore out for a while and it did not disappoint. Leah, our server, could not have been nicer. She and her partner / busser were attentive and prompt even though we were seated outside which was extra work for them. The food was excellent. The five of us ordered a mix of burgers, pasta, risotto, steak, salads. We ordered their flavored butter options with bread. Recommend!

A really great treat! The service was very good, we were seated and given a few moments to look at the menu, then the server came back, told us the specials and asked for our drink and appetizers. We had friends on their way and the server was just as attentive to them when they arrived. We were given a good amount of time to enjoy the drinks, conversation and appetizers then asked for our orders. Everything came in a timely manner but not rushed. The food was good, plentiful and hot. The portions were just right. We were satisfied but not stuffed. The taste was also very good. We all sampled each other's dishes and we all commented that we would have to try different things next time. It was all good! Sorry no pictures, we were too excited to enjoy the great looking and smelling food, we all forgot to get a picture in the beginning.

Y'all 3, 4 and 5 stars must be the well done, butterfly, extra char steak kind of peopleThis was by far one of the BIGGEST LET DOWNS since Twisted Tree. The friendly host did make this review benefit from complete obliteration.Loud packed room, beer hall style dining, with subpar Sysco steaks, smothered in cheese and onions to mask the quality.Server was both vegan and vegetarian. I don't say this lightly, but WHAT THE ACTUAL FUNK! - she was oblivious about the menu. The Mexicans cooking knew nothing about the steaks, (or how to cook them) my Spanish did not help avoid 2 tough overcooked steaks. My buddy's kids birthday at Texas Roadhouse served almost the same menu, better quality steaks and at half the price, and cooked perfectly. They even will sing you happy birthday if you ask. LolThere are many other LOCAL options with superb quality in the area. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY and go elsewhere.

This place was great. I am sad i didn't grab pictures. We seldom find someplace that everyone liked their food. And it was a bit pricy, but i dont think it wasn't a good value quality for the dollar. For example, the side of fruit is $4. It had blackberries, blue berries, straw berries, grapes, pineapple, and cantaloupe, and was a significant size. I doubt you could get that much fruit from a grocery store for $4. They were not shy with their bacon on the breakfast sandwich. The siracha was home-madede and fantastic. The coffee is debuque, a local premium brand, very good and again a bargain compared to say starbucks. The breakfast butters were unique, and we were split between our group on which was best (obviously the bacon maple was best). The biscuits were exactly what you wanted when you ordered a biscuit from some place, fresh, homemade, and filling. They dont have a kids meal, but a $4 side of pancakes was too much for my growing 5 year old to finish. While it is too expensive for a regular breakfast spot, it is one of the top brunches in st.louis, no doubt.Kid-friendliness: Not specifically kid friendly, but kids will enjoy their food.

I've eaten here several times been satisfied but never actually wowed. I had heard bout lenten menu so decided tonight to try it. With some preparation I asked bout cost of baked cod 27 bucks ordered anyway with beans. When dish arrived you could smell the garlic. The I tasted. Omg. This dish was remarkable...get on a plane remarkable. In my lenten journey I was very thankful to have such a wonderful meal. Get here and order this dish while you can. Admire the artistry and simplicity of its preparation. Forget the big names....this is James beard level. It will leave you begging for a straw to slurp up the sauce and wondering how is that possible. Great job carnivore

Solid choice for food. Always delicious ?. He has the fish and chips. I had the baked cod. Both were wonderful. My only complaint is the very loud noise level. With that being said it did not stop us from going. I'll love it when the weather breaks and the patio is open again.

We just ate here with my family for an early Valentines Day celebration and was very disappointed at the food. I ordered a $56 bone-in ribeye that had absolutely no flavor and was tough. I haven’t had a worse ribeye for a long as my memory goes back. For $56 it should be one of the best things I put in my mouth, period. The server was nice and the food came out at a good time. I don’t ever write reviews but I couldn’t help but trying to inform others that this place is heavily overpriced and the food was as bland as possible.
