Mediocre dining experience for premium prices. Waited until after we had bread and an appetizer to get silverware. Had to ask twice for that. Food was OK but not worth the price. Overall, it was OK but we wont be back.

As always we had a great dinner. It was busier than usual and yet we had great service from Mathew. The Lasagna and Tortellini are the best in the area.

I had such high expectations and they were dashed by almost every thing in this restaurant. The ambience was horrible. It was so loud I could hardly hear the people at my table. The waitress checked on us maybe once and was never around when we needed her. We got the wrong thing because she placed the wrong order. The hostess had to come help me because my waitress was nowhere to be found. I would never go back again. Especially for as much as I paid.

Overall, it was an ok dinner. Given the price, I had higher expectations. The food was fine but not overly memorable. The service was ok, but usually at a restaurant at this level you get a more experienced server that finds a way to make the evening more special. Maybe my expectations were too high, but this felt like an Olive Garden with slightly better food for 2x the cost.

Food was really good! It was our 23 anniversary and I put a note when making the reservation. It wasn't acknowledged. Just a little disappointing.

We always love the Sicilian Garlic Dip. By the time we have eaten that (with a ton of warm bread) we know we should just split is the lasagna, which never disappoints. The service was spot on, as usual! We can't wait to come back!

Service was great food delicious & not very crowed! The ventilation was better or it's no smoking!! Whichever it is it worked!! I forgot to snap a pic of full plate of food!! The decore & setup, service, chef & waitstaff was on point!! This is a great 1st encounter location, I can recommend Charlie & his many locations!!

MELISSA IS AN AMBASSADOR TO YOUR BRAND!!!! After taking our Grandchildren for pics with Santa, we stopped at Charlie Gitto's and were WOWED by Melissa and her teammates. Our kids ages 13 down to 1, were all treated with respect, acknowledged and included, and able to see for themselves what kind of great service they should both provide in their future careers and expect from the providers they choose. The food was great, (veal, steak, seafood pasta, calamari, carrot cake, chocolate cake gelato, tiramisu, mocktails and cocktails) From apps to dessert it all was wow. The table was perfect for our needs. The kids weren't trapped in a booth so if they needed they could have gone to restroom... but they were never bored or impatient. Everything was timed perfectly. Our Middle fella could watch the kitchen while he anticipated his dessert. Melissa coordinated the food runners, bussers etc all while making sure we had all we needed for a wow evening. Seriously.. management... listen.. I don't know her but If I thought I could hire Melissa away... I'd try. Do what you need to keep her and people will keep coming back. My wife and our grandchildren were all very happy to have a dinner we won't forget. Bottom line... the kids talked more about dinner than they did about Santa. Thank you Melissa and thank you Charlie Gitto's.

The food was excellent. I had the lobster bisque and shrimp scampi. The waitress assistant was very nice and cordial, however the waitress was cold and not friendly at all. I should say that I was alone and in sweats and sweatshirt. I'm on vacation and just taking it easy. My bill was just under $50 for just me. I left her $2 tip....normally I would have left her $10...?she didn't even deserve the $2!

Service was amazing. The food was far far far from good. Presentation was great just not the taste. Ordered veal. They splattered yellow sauce all over it, kinda over powered the whole meal. It was the only thing with flavor. The broccoli was cold and soggy and bland. The single carrot stick tasted like dirt, crab was fishy. Overall just not the best food. Waiter was tipped $40 cause he did amazing. Portions for the sides were insanely small. I got a good amount of veal. I don’t know if this is an acquired taste but wasn’t for me. Just me and my girlfriend both got 1 drink each and an appetizer and main course in total spent $130 without the tip. Service and experience were great! Just find it a bit crazy how expensive it was.

We wanted to go to Charlie Gittos on the hill, but they didn’t have any reservations available. We reluctantly went to the Hollywood casino location and they did not disappoint. Service was fast and food was delicious. They immediately gave everyone water and bread for the table. The waiter knew the menu very well and made great recommendations. Water was filled consistently like we were special guests, and the place was pretty busy. Pizza, fettuccine, ravioli and ziti were the dishes ordered and everyone left happy and full. Serving size was good and not way too big like many others.

They were great. Two wonderful ladies at the front saved an 80th birthday celebration by finding a way to accommodate a party of 18 at the last minute. Our server CC was professional and had a great personality. The food was excellent. I will definitely return when I come back to St. Louis.
