Everything was delicious, we even took two gluten-free pizzas home with us I had the seafood risotto for the first time and it was fabulous. Portions are nice sized. Two of us split the chop salad, one of us had the French onion soup. One of us had the grouper special and said it was fabulous. One of us had a cannelloni. All in all a lovely dinner
We are frequent diners at Charlie Gitto's. The food is always delicious and have never had a problem with service or anything else.
We have been going to Charlie Gittos at Hollywood Casino for at least 20 years. We have NEVER had a bad meal. Always a place for birthdays.
This was our return visit in two years and we were very disappointed. The restaurant was not even half full and the service was very slow. The food did not measure up to our last visit two years ago. We did not appreciate the up charge for using a credit card. The comp cake for our birthday celebration was very nice and very good.. Sorry they did away with the early bird dinner menu. This was not the Charlie Gitto's we were use to !
We love Charlie gittos at Hollywood. Matthew was amazing as our server. We have had him in the past and he never disappoints! We will be asking for him on all future dining at Charlie Gittos hollywood Casino.
Wonderful Classic Fine Dining experience. Wait staff was courteous and very helpful. Everyone was able to answer questions about the menu items. The food was incredible. the overall experience makes me want to go back regularly. The cost of the menu items is VERY reasonable for the atmosphere and quality of the food that the restaurant presents. Great selection of wines, with a good number of wines by the glass. Definitely will be back very soon.
They burned my Canneloni. And the bread is no longer of good quantity. But my wife's salmon was very good.
Me lady got the shrimp and sausage pasta that was the special. Very little shrimp, and the spicy sauce was bland. The 16oz ribeye was good but nothing special. Both the sides were again bland. Overall very underwhelming food, definitely would not recommend or return.
Superb service and delicious food. I highly reccomend the chopped salad and baked spaghetti.

Everything was great, as usual. From the bread and appetizers to the entrees and the drinks.

This Italian restaurant is something that is worth trying no matter if you are staying at the casino or not! It is by far some of the best Italian food in St. Louis...probably even the state of Missouri! The service, cocktails, and food are always fantastic! Make a reservation!
Not busy likely due to the prices. Acceptable food but nothing that you will likely crave for the future.
Overall the food was very good except for one dish, the chicken nunzio. That dish was not very good to me at all and the sides that are Put on the plate looked like they had been sitting for days. Everything else was good. Previous visits the food has been better and the service was just ok too.
We recently dined at Charlie Gitto's and overall had a very good experience, though with a few noticeable shortcomings. Food: The meal started strong. The bread was fresh and the toasted ravioli were some of the best I have had anywhere, crispy, flavorful, and memorable. We shared a lobster bisque, which tasted rich but only included two small pieces of lobster. At fourteen dollars for a bowl, I expected more substance. For entrées, I had the Cajun Pasta Special. While tasty, it leaned more toward a spicy Alfredo than anything distinctly Cajun and felt one note after a few bites. Ess ordered the seafood pasta, which delivered good flavor and variety, though the portioning was uneven. She received only one shrimp, two mussels, and two clams, with most of the dish filled out by small scallops and langostino pieces. The mocktail Ess ordered was excellent, but my Lemoncello Spritzer arrived at room temperature, which required me to add ice from my water glass. For dessert, my tiramisu (ordered to go) remains untested, but Ess was disappointed by the sponge ricotta cake. It was not dry, but it also was not particularly flavorful. Service: The highlight of the evening was unquestionably our server. She was attentive, courteous, and proactive, anticipating our needs, checking in without hovering, and even packing us up with salt, pepper, forks, and extras for our leftovers. Truly outstanding service that made us feel well cared for. Ambience: The restaurant has a polished feel with white tablecloths and candlelit tables, creating a nice atmosphere. That said, the lack of dress code enforcement undermined the setting. We dressed for the occasion, yet were seated next to guests in gym shorts and t shirts, which felt out of step with the tone the restaurant seems to aim for. Value: Our bill came to one hundred fifty seven dollars before tip for two people. That price would have been completely justified with fuller seafood portions, more consistency in drinks and dessert
I ordered the Veal Marsala, and it was cold. I sent it back and patiently waited for a new order. When my new order arrived, the plate was burning hot I cut into the veal and same problem. It was cold. I couldn't eat it. By then all the other guests were almost finished with their dinned. When the waiter came by I asked him to take the second order back he was bother and became very rude. I asked him to touch the food and see for himself. He just grabbed the plate to remove it and it burned his hand. I told him they are heating up the plate not the food. I was really disappointed. I go there all the time with some of my clients. NO MORE.
