This Italian restaurant is something that is worth trying no matter if you are staying at the casino or not! It is by far some of the best Italian food in St. Louis...probably even the state of Missouri! The service, cocktails, and food are always fantastic! Make a reservation!
Overall the food was very good except for one dish, the chicken nunzio. That dish was not very good to me at all and the sides that are Put on the plate looked like they had been sitting for days. Everything else was good. Previous visits the food has been better and the service was just ok too.
We recently dined at Charlie Gitto's and overall had a very good experience, though with a few noticeable shortcomings. Food: The meal started strong. The bread was fresh and the toasted ravioli were some of the best I have had anywhere, crispy, flavorful, and memorable.
