Since I no longer live in St. Louis, I try to get some rice when I'm in town, or have my relatives bring me some when they visit me in Jefferson City. I ate the chicken first and it was ok. I tried the rice, but it tasted like dirty dish water. I was too afraid to try the Saint Paul after that disappointment. I know every business and their workers can have bad days, but come on. It even smelled funny. Of course I can't have it remade, because I dont live there. So I wasted money and still want some REAL STL rice. Too bad I most likely will not get a partial refund.
I ordered delivery. Everything came as I requested and was all very good. The shrimp fried rice had a lot of shrimp! Also liked the egg rolls. Lots of filling and tasted quite good. I think it's also worth noting that the order actually arrived early and was still hot when I opened the bag. Everything was packaged in an orderly manner.

Ordered chicken fried rice and there was just a few bites of chicken. Disappointing.
Mmm been looking for sweet crab rangoon for a minute. My daughter told me this place had em. I actually ate a whole one order of 4 by myself. The egg rolls are pretty tasty too. Not undercooked at all. It all has a nice crunch in the right places. Oh prices very affordable.
These were the WORST wings ever, the daughter was cooking. Itβs like she fried them in soy and Worcester sauce and egg. Never again!!
Me and my husband were passing through Saint Louis on a road trip and decided to stop and do some site seeing. I've always heard Saint Louis has the best Chinese so we googled and decided on China King for a true STL experience and ofc the Saint Paul didn't disappoint. The rice was good too. I cannot compare it to the rice at home. Different and delicious. I have craved another saint Paul sandwich that I ordered EFY back home and made my own!
The service was good. The woman behind the counter was patient and helpful.
The atmosphere is nothing special and the bathrooms are blocked off so it doesn't seem like they want you to use them. I didn't ask though.
Food is really good.ππππ

My husband and I have tried the food here several times and it just gets better and better. Highly recommended chicken gizzards with gravy and onions as well as my husband enjoys their hot braised chicken whole wings

I've been coming to this family owned restaurant for a long time. Watched the babies grow into young ladies. Food is always hot, fresh and flavorful.
