Was really excited to try Eat Crow, and made it today for their ‘metal brunch.’ Personally not a fan of metal music but appreciative of the alternative scene. We waited 35 minutes for a simple order, in this incredibly noisy place, with an out-of-control group of drunks at the bar, whom no one asked to modulate to respect other customers. Mediocre veggie burger. Good Caesar salad but small. Good waffle fries and avocado toast but didn’t make up for the grating noise level. We had to ask twice where our order was… no status updates from wait staff, without our asking where our food was. Would NOT recommend, or return.
Had a wonderful time at the Eat Crow bar/restaurant. Staff were amazing. It had the most comical drink menu and served large tasty food. The decor was originally unique and fun. I could tell it was a popular local hangout where everyone was friendly. If I am ever in Soulard again while in St. Louie I plan to be a repeat patron. The best bonus of the evening was one of our bartenders looked like Joe Dirt and had a good sense of humor. A must checkout!
