I’d made a 6:30 reservation for 4, this was a business dinner with two of the guests being from out of town. I arrived first and put in for some appetizers before the others arrived. No one ever came back to our table. In fact, it felt as though they were purposely staying away. My guests arrived and even after making eye contact with the staff, they steered the other direction. After about an hour, I approached who I assumed was our server, the manager and the hostess and asked if we could please be helped as we were waiting a very long time. They all just stared at me like I had 12 heads. After a moment they said they would be right over. Still no one came. Every other table was getting food, drinks, their checks even and no one could come by to say hello. Around 7:50, we’d had enough of being ignored and left.

We chose this restaurant last night for a work dinner while hosting colleagues visiting fron California and were excited to try it. Unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing and honestly quite embarrassing. Our group was seated and brought waters and when the server first came by we asked if we could place drink and appetizer orders for the table since we would all be on one check. After that, no one ever returned to our table to talk our order even as the rest of the party arrived. Meanwhile, other tables around us were being served drinks and food while our group of 4 sat there with only water and no opportunity to order. After waiting quite for quite a while our only option was to leave. We ended up walking down the street to Blueberry Hill, obviously we were not looking for bar food for a corporate dinner that we were hosting but we were immediately greeted and served promptly without issue. The fact that this was a business dinner with 2 out-of-town guests makes the situation even more disappointing and unfortunately left a very poor impression of St. Louis. The lack of professionalism and awareness was beyond surprising.

Please don't eat there. Yes, the Moonrise is a great hotel, but the food at Eclipse subpar. Meat difficult to identify, frozen fries. For the drinks, you are asked to use the QR code. Is there a cook in the plane?.
We came for the first time tonight! Everything was clean, delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our server was Elisha — she was incredibly attentive, kind and made our visit even more special! We will definitely be back!
