Kingside Express, located near SWADE dispensary on Delmar Loop, offers tasty breakfast options. I tried the Kingside Slinger with perfectly cooked eggs and a unique black bean chili. The Damn Delicious, despite the croissant being more like breakfast bread, had a heavenly combination of fluffy egg, crisp bacon, and flavorful pork sausage gravy. It's recommended to go early as it opens at 7 am.
Stayed at the Moonrise directly across the street. Ordered takeout from here because they did have gluten free options for my wife. Ordered for her the hash with roasted sweet potatoes , Brussels sprouts , onions, garlic and two eggs. I ordered the "Meat Me in St Louis ". Walked across the street within 5 minutes it was ready. Restaurant is clean, inviting and has room for 8-10 4 top tables, so you could dine here. Man you met me at the counter was very welcoming and helpful....read full review

We had breakfast at the restaurant two days in a row (Friday and Saturday). Great each time. Many people did the takeout they’re known for but they were definitely busier on Saturday with many more people dining in. I would definitely return to this place for breakfast.
