It is a fancy place to be selling tea from a box filled with sugar. I ordered a chai tea, and it was extremely sweet. The service staff showed me the box of tea, which was expensive and had more than 40g of added sugar. I asked if I could change it for regular black tea, but I was still charged for it. Terrible service and terrible products.
Had the most delicious salad ever! It's called the Pompeia. The best part - it was vegan! The bakery items looked amazing, but I'm trying to diet. š It was my first visit, but, I'll definitely be back.

The place seemed nice. I was staying nearby and wanted cold brew coffee, but they only had nitro brew, which I donāt really enjoy. I didnāt have strong feelings about itāneither loved nor hated it. They had oat bars with berries that looked tasty, and some handmade pastries that also looked good. They didnāt offer any hot food or made-to-order items, just coffee drinks.
The patio outside had a comfortable space.
It was amazing! Super yummy.

I didn't even order here. The girl at the counter was extra rude and off-putting. No, would not recommend as I didn't even order due to the trash attitude of the kid at the register. Will not give it another go. Hire better people.
EDIT: the below response to my review is laughable. Profanity? I don't use profanity with service workers; their life is hard enough as is. But your counter-girls' disdain at being asked multiple questions by a new customer and childish eye-rolling ABSOLUTELY made me give your snooty establishment a single star. I would give negative if possible. And the management response just bolsters my review. Again, just pass this place up and go somewhere better.
After waking up before dawn on my day off I was scrolling Facebook and luxuriating in the knowledge I could snuggle in my blankets a little longer - itās the WEEKEND! Saw a friendās post about this cafe and had Pavlovās dog reaction over their photo. Checked the menu and was reaching out to a friend I knew would also be up to see if they wanted to grab breakfast.
The menu offers a wide variety of coffee, latte, non-coffee, juice options. I went with the mint latte. They step fresh ment leaves to make their own syrup to be used. Has the shuttle hint of mint, as the latte is sipped. Not over powering or fake, shuttle like if you were chewing a mint leaf from the garden. My friend opted for the horchata latte, strong cinnamon but smooth. We ended up switching latteās due to the cinnamon level, it was strong for her to do a full one. I was good with both.
We opted for the Peaches and Ricotta toast. It was covered in fresh peaches, whipped ricotta, housemade jam, candied pecans, local raw honey, lemon zest, and fresh thyme served on Union Loafers rustic sourdough.
Second choice was the cashew butter and jam toast. It was built with housemade cashew butter, seasonal jam, pumpkin seeds, thinly sliced almonds, local raw honey, bee pollen served on Union Loafers rustic sourdough.
Very fresh, refreshing, and flavorful ingredients. Farm to table with ingredients from local farms around our area. When the crowd picked up and the sun was causing the temp to raise, they opened a window making the vibe for open air cafe. They sit on the corner, so there was a cross breeze that was nice.
Great friendly staff. Great food. They open at 7:00 and have ample table space to place books out for study time - which I saw a couple of individuals doing and was glad I was able to just enjoy the space without studying.
Check them out!

Employee egg washing croissants behind a glass door shooed us away from looking with a hand gesture while we were walking from inside to sit on the patio with our foodāa friend of mine calls this the ārude cafeā and it lives up to the name, croissants are good but not good enoughāwill not be returning

The cinnamon roll is the most amazing pastry in all of St Louis. Big enough to shareā¦.but you will not want to. Itās a croissant cinnamon roll of deliciousness. If I can pick any pastry for a treat, this wins. Sending friends to try it or give as a gift.

Absolutely delicious food with beautiful presentation. They were a little strict about where we could sit, but thankfully let us choose the table we wanted in the end. I will definitely be back for more delectable eats!

Holy smokes! They had the best avocado toast Iāve ever had!
Lovely place to have brunch!! Went there today with friends and the 3 of us liked what we ordered, freshly prepared and very tasty. It's very nice inside and it has a lovely patio on the back. It's a very family and friends type of place, located in a peaceful block in Shaw. We'll definitely go back
