Very cozy neighborhood café with great coffee options and quick bites to grab

It's a great place to meet friends or get some work done, and I love their patio area when it's nice out. Their food/ baked goods are just alright nothing special. And the coffee is terrible. It's always SO bitter. The lattes you get hardly have any flavor, so I'd say if you're going for the coffee, don't.

The food was solid, but the service made the experience uncomfortable. My friend and I ordered a macchiato, the coconut curry soup, beet toast, and a pistachio croissant and sat to enjoy our meal. About 30 minutes into eating and talking, a staff member asked us to move because we were seated at a four-top.
They had already removed one of the chairs, which felt passive aggressive, but it didn’t bother us—we were still only using the space we needed. In other cafés, if seating gets tight, the norm is simply splitting the tables or politely asking to use an extra seat. Here, the tone and request made it very clear they preferred that we leave rather than find a solution.
I’ve never had a café make me feel like my presence was a problem, and I won’t be returning. Others who value inclusive, welcoming environments may want to be aware of this dynamic before choosing to dine here.

The coffee and service was great. The flow of the place was very congested and I felt like I was in somebody's way no matter where I stood. I'm sure it's not like that all of the time but both times I have been there it has been just like that for me.

Everything I’ve tried has been phenomenal. Favorites include garden herb salad, tomato and goat cheese toast, chilli and feta croissant, and iced ube matcha latte.

Tomato soup was mid and chunky (?) and they didnt even fill the bowl all the way. Won’t be coming back
I gave a new coffee place a shot and it was just awful. My usual place usually fills the whole cup with yogurt or at least half… felt this was a rip off for what I paid. Also looked at the bottom of the cup, and it’s a week old… I ordered a vanilla lavender coffee, but tasted zero of either flavor. It was a let down. But they were busy when I went in so perhaps that was the reason for the poor coffee. Lovely place and nice staff though!

I had a very negative experience at this coffee shop. A cashier came up to me and told me to get up from my table while I was still waiting for my to-go order, which included multiple pastries and three coffees. She didn’t bother to ask whether I was still waiting, and showed zero concern for basic customer courtesy. What made it worse is that plenty of people were sitting comfortably, working for long periods after ordering just a single coffee many without ordering any food. Yet I was the one asked to give up my spot, despite spending more than most people there. The message was clear: they don’t value paying customers, and their treatment is inconsistent and disrespectful. I won’t be returning.
