Specifically ordered a pizza without cheese as my wife is intolerent with cheese. What turnud up was a pizza swimming in cheese with portions we didn't order. It was sickly and half it was binned. Thought we would give it a try but never again. Will stick to good old Dominos.

Hours on Yelp are incorrect. Drove over and they were closed. All good... willing to try again another time!!

My partner and I loved Firecracker when we went this spring! We had a Funk-A-Delic, which was great, and the One Bad Apple- seems a little out there but it TOTALLY works. Atmosphere was great and everyone was so nice and helpful. Our favorite meal of our trip to St. Louis!

The best meal we had in St. Louis! We ordered a regular Funk-A-Delic and a regular One Bad Apple pizza. Both were amazing. The pizza selections are all unique and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was so welcoming and appreciative of our business. The beer selection is interesting, and the Chicken and Waffles we tried was a good choice. Our waitress apologized for the pizzas taking some time (wasn't unreasonable at all), and took off the cost of beer from the bill without being asked. I highly recommend Firecracker Pizza to anyone in St. Louis, and I hope we will be back soon.

A group of 4 of us came in around 2pm and didn't have to wait for a table! Family friendly as well. Plenty of parking around the restaurant too. Server was very knowledgeable and helpful, and let us know the pizzas are all "personal pizza" sizes and when I ordered a salad and added chicken, she asked if I wanted it hot or cold which I thought was nice. Like the mini cookie sheets that the pizzas are served on, the salad was also served in one! I had never seen this before, and am still unsure how I feel about a salad being on a cookie sheet rather than a bowl! Something different! Lots of hot sauce options, lots of ways to heat things up and make it spicier!!! But, if you're not a fan of spice ***like me!!!*** you're still totally accounted for! Definitely stop in, cutest area, cutest restaurant, really delicious food and pizza! Great beer options as well. Will go back! You should try it!

I feel like this place is a little hidden treasure that should get more attention.

Came in during the takeover from Seedz. Had an excellent vegan buffalo tofu pizza. Beer list is amazing! Lots of local beer to be had as well. Great place to have in the Grove. The downside was the wait. I think that's due to the limited menu for the take over and how popular it was.

Tried three specialty pizzas tonight and LOVED all of them (Pepperonious Monster, Funck-a-delic & Jalepaño Bidness) thanks to the “Pizza Fight” option they offer. Perfect amount of toppings and yummy crispy crust on all three! Not sure if they were going for St. Louis style pizza, but if they were it’s the best I’ve ever had!

Had a great time on a quiet afternoon. Incredible beer selection and innovative specialty pizzas.

Delish as always!! I was even amazed that the bartender knew what I wanted to drink when I arrived. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing on my part...hmmmmm..lol

This was our second visit to firecracker. And just like the first time we were super happy with our choice. Seems like it's tough to be creative and do something different with pizza and beer right? There's just so many in the field right now. But they're menu is outstanding. I love the creative play and words with their firecracker theme. We ordered the No Sleep till Brooklyn Pizza which is basically a Reuben sandwich on a pizza. I was apprehensive but it was so good. I would come back and ordered again in a second. We also got another Pizza that was just more of a traditional pizza with sausage, mushrooms and spinach. Also very good. The pizza is thin crust. It's crispy but still chewy. I can't say enough good things about it. And of course beer selection is amazing. Don't hesitate to come here it's a great spot.

My first and maybe last time at Firecracker Pizza & Beer. Tonight was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in Saint Louis for a long time. My friends and I went here for dinner and it wasn't too busy. There were a good amount of empty spots for people that called in for a large party and some two-top tables that were open. Upon walking in, we were not greeted by anyone. I think it was a cook that noticed that we were just like lost and confused so we were finally helped with seating. We ended up sitting near the pizza cooks/ovens. It took around 10 minutes for us to be greeted and even get menus, which was strange because it was not busy. Since the cooks were right there, we asked him for recommendations because the server kind of left us for a long time after dropping the menus off. Luckily we had some good suggestions on pizza from him. Our dinner order was a pizza flight consisting of the: No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn, One Bad Apple, and the Spuds Rodriguez. All the pizzas parts had good flavor but my favorite was the Brooklyn portion, the sauerkruat made the slices very distinct from any pizza I've ever tasted- though it did lack a thousand island dressing taste, it was clearly the orange drizzle on the top. The apple portion of the pizza just tasted like half a dessert pizza and the Spud Rodriguez was basically a fully loaded baked potato but in pizza form. All three parts were flavorful and worth the price. The issue I had with this place was the service, or rather specifically the server we had. I would rate the food alone to be 3-4 and the server we had 1. Our drinks sat empty for way too long. We would go 20 minutes or more without the server checking on us at a time, there was even a point that my friend took a phone call-- Using the phone call's time stamp we noticed it was at least 23 minutes since we have been checked on. As I am starting this draft for the review it is 8:53pm and the phone call was around 8:30pm. After we finished the pizza my friend ordered the Holy Mole cookie dessert. The cookie actually was finished and sat on the rack for 10-15mins before it was delivered to us. Since we were sitting right there we noticed that it was clearly the cookie ordered. The server then appeared with the checks after being gone for too long of a time. The funny part was when we finally got our checks my friend asked for the cookie and the server admitted to forgetting about it. I ended up putting my card down and looked for where the server went, she was watching tv! It took so long for the server to grab the checkbook - a person in my party went to the restroom and then came back, saw it was still there and brought it to the bar area to get it taken care of. Throughout entire dinner we had not received a single refill. Overall, I think the pizza has unique options that are worth trying. Maybe order and take out? The service was horrid, possibly the worst I've ever experienced so far- the cooks are nice if you are sitting there. If I had to rate the food separately from the service I would rate the food 3-4 stars and the service 1.
