Everest Cafe and Bar has earned a loyal following as a long-time favorite in St. Louis. This popular spot features a cozy, inviting, and bright atmosphere, though it can be a little loud at times. The owners and staff are consistently described as kind, welcoming, efficient, and attentive. The menu offers something for several diets, including vegetarian, gluten free, and meat options. Customers recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Korma, saag paneer, Biryani, and the Momo tikki massala. The 15.99 lunch buffet includes 2 choices of rice, hot milk tea, a mini salad bar, two soups, Naan, spring rolls, and dessert. While the buffet is fun for trying a variety of dishes, one customer noted the Naan and spring rolls ran out. Another appreciated that the restaurant wasn’t trying to upsell, though a drink menu was not provided. Overall, the food is excellent, rich, delicious, and comforting, with a focus on healthy cooking that doesn’t feel too greasy.
