Always been a fan of their Persian omelette but wanted to try the egg shakshuka and the Yarok juice and totally fell in love with the food again! Came back after 5 months and the menu seems changed, the ambience is different but the food taste remains the same.! Totally worth it.

Delicious food, great service, beautiful vibe. Fresh and authentic Israeli food, reminds me of brunch in Tel Aviv. Can’t wait to come back!

I love this place. Best food in STL as far as I'm concerned.

Great place - not your ordinary place for coffee, breakfast, or lunch

The food was objectively very bad unfortunately:( We had the cheese borek and the anchovy egg toast thing. Coming from a Turkish person, it hurts to go to a “middle eastern” inspired cafe and have really bad “middle eastern” food:/

Great food at an awesome price. The Jerusalem bagel with the labneh was very unique, and the hummus was amazing. All very fresh tasting.
What a special restaurant. Food absolutely delicious, such a pleasant and charming outdoor patio, and service just excellent. All of that would have been enough. But the restaurant management really went the extra mile for us - so accommodating and helpful, it really made our for an elevated and truly exceptional experience. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Food was really good! I enjoyed the new to me flavors of the harissa and the toast was surprisingly refreshing with the topping (reminded me of Greek yogurt). Space is a little small and the seating was a little simple. The tables are small metal rusted tables, so not my favorite. Service was attentive enough, our server came by at correct times. Some of the prices are a bit steep but maybe they’re worth it?

I wish I made more trips to downtown. Some of the best food I've had and the lamb Pita was delicious!

The food is consistently great, but the service lacks attention to detail and is very careless.
Kashkaval Borekas | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Crunchy, cheesy, and packed with flavor - this dish instantly transports me back to Eastern Europe. The grated tomato in the tahini is a brilliant touch, adding a vibrant burst of flavor.
Jerusalem Bagel w/ Labne and Zaatar | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolute fire. The bagel was toasted to perfection - crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy inside.
Avocado Toast | ⭐️⭐️⭐️½
Not sure if the Muhammara is the best base for the avocado, cucumbers, and other toppings. A labne base might work better for balance. Also, upgrading the bread to a high-quality artisanal sourdough instead of the standard, “wonder bread”-shaped toast would elevate the dish.
Lamb Pita “Arais” | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½
Beautifully seasoned with amazing flavors, but the lamb could be improved. Using succulent lamb shavings instead of the current kufte-style filling might take it to the next level.
Tea & Coffee Service
Impressive variety with great choices.
The servers feel more like unmotivated food runners than true hospitality professionals - they simply drop off glasses and dishes without much engagement and move on. There’s little effort to create a welcoming experience, which takes away from the overall vibe. It’s a shame because the atmosphere itself is lively and inviting, but the impersonal service dampens what could otherwise be a fantastic dining experience.

Food was good, but not spectacular. Service wasn’t great and had to keep trying to flag down anyone to serve us.

This is one of those places that you know will be amazing the second you walk through the door. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the colorful streets of Tel Aviv, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Plenty of colorful vegetarian options. Florentin is another Ben Poremba masterpiece. We can’t wait to go back!

I didn’t eat there but had the chance of stopping at the restaurant. The people are friendly, the restaurant was super spotless clean, and the food looks amazing.
