Disappointed and I really wanted to like it. We loved olio back in the day. We tried the multi-course menu on Fri, 11/15 and it was quite disappointing. $65 per person and the food and the desserts had no flavor. We grew up cooking and eating middle eastern food. Quite disappointing since it was a special night for us and we spent close to $180. The atmosphere isn’t cozy either. Definitely needs an improvement.

Nice urban Israeli breakfast, brunch and lunch place. In new redevopment district. (Craft Alliance is a few stores away.) Nice outdoor garden. Inside nicely designed semi industrial feel. Quite loud inside.
Vegetarian options: Most of the menu items are vegetarian with two exceptions - 1 a lamb pita and the other a shakshucka with lamb.

Everything we ate here was 10/10. No notes, the food it’s perfect, fresh, and extremely tasty. We had baba ganoush, fresh warm pita, shakshouka, falafel pita, and the lamb pita. The drinks were delish. This is definitely our new spot. I can’t wait to try more of the menu.
Dietary restrictions: One person in our party has a tree nut allergy, the server brought her own dish of baba ganoush that was nut free. Very accommodating
Can’t say enough good things about this meal and atmosphere. Beautifully put together space and thoughtful, nostalgic dishes. I’m looking forward to my next meal here.

Its simply a WOW! BEST falafel I’ve had in the mid west up-till now and thats huge. Beautiful atmosphere in and out, plenty of patio and garden outdoor sitting. You can see and feel they really put their hearts into it. As I’ve heard same owners opened two additional upscale restaurants in the neighborhood, got to try them out. Beteavon

High quality ingredients in a unique, interesting cafe. The shemesh date-tahini-oatmilk steamer is unlike anything I've had before- incredible, delicious. If there was shade, I would have sat outside. The folding metal chairs inside we not comfortable to me.

The shakshuka was the best we have eaten in a long time. Pita was hot and fresh, lemon mint smoothie was refreshing, fries were yummy and crispy. The atmosphere was really cool- good music, nice staff, beautiful decor. Best Mediterranean food in STL! Will be coming back with friends.
