I recommend the pear cocktail and manhattan winter. W enjoyed the French on Mon soup, beet salad, penne with mushrooms, schnitzel sandwich, and classic creme bruise.“

“Decided to go here for my girlfriend’s birthday after reading the reviews. I was a little thrown off at first that it’s located inside the hotel (but that is my fault), but Café La Vie ended up being a great choice. Our waiter, Matthew, did an excellent job and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The charcuterie board was really good, the French onion soup was excellent, and they have a very nice drink selection. Overall, the food was great and the experience exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.“

“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.“

“I think this may be my new favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The ambience alone is absolutely beautiful, but combine that with amazing food and impeccable service and you have a winner. Best oysters I’ve ever had, and those Gruyère puffs are insanely good. I had the Bavette steak, and my husband had the chicken cordon bleu… Incredible! You cannot miss out on the drinks; the cocktails are so good and the spritz hour is a great deal. Highly recommend!“

“The best eggs Benedict I have ever had! Muffins toasted perfectly, eggs done perfectly, delicious hollandaise, the most crispy & meaty ham/bacon ever... all served warm from a smiling server! The waitress was so sweet and accommodating with our family including our daughter and two young grandchildren. The hostess who seated us was so friendly.
