This place is EXCELLENT. They do trivia on Tuesday nights at 7:30 and it's very fun! The whole place is full of music posters even some fun local memorabilia like a sign from the Firebird. When you sit down they bring a paper tray of popcorn seasoned with their Rock Star dust, and it is addictive! Everything on the menu has a clever music-themed name. The tacos are delicious and unique. We tried the Notorious PIG, Amy Swinehouse, Hey Ho Chorizo, There Goes My Gyro, and Birria Dollar Babies. Our friends eat here weekly and always go for the shrimp and fish tacos. We also shared the Poutina Turner. It was by far my favorite thing - perfect amount of heat. They have a selection of local brews and a full bar. The bartender knows what she's doing! If you like mixed drinks, just ask her to do her thing.

Found this gem by accident. It can be easy to miss driving by but you shouldn't miss out on their great tamales and drinks! I wish I had some photos to share but I inhaled them the moment they hit the table. The owner was so incredibly friendly! I will definitely be coming back.

They currently have rockstar tacos here. The guacamole is delicious. They give you popcorn to start off with a special seasoning. The have two types of veggie tacos which are yum and specials for quesadillas like the grilled cheese. The place is small but quaint and staff is friend. Would definitely go back for taco night, which isn't just Tuesdays. They offer tacos 'gringo' style( flour tortilla, sour cream and a 'fancy sauce'" or original, cilantro and onion

Dropped by Gaslight Lounge recently to grab a cocktail before getting dinner with some friends at a restaurant on the Hill. My boyfriend and I were early for our reservation and decided to check this neighborhood bar out. The bar is a really cool concept. It's part bar, part recording studio. Having frequented many recording studios, I thought this was an awesome use of space and a novel way to expose local music to bar go-ers. Gaslight Lounge is located right off Kingshiway, so getting to it is super easy. The spacy is cozy and welcoming. I thought it would be the perfect place to meet with friends to kick off a night out on the town. They offered a pretty hefty draft list and had plenty more canned options. There were also two pages full of creative cocktails, each with a fun, music-themed name. I opted for a limencello and prosecco cocktail that was absolutely divine. There is a BBQ joint attached to Gaslight Lounge that you can order food from. It smelled great! We will probably be back soon to give it a try.
