We had a wonderful evening at Gina-Tony’s. Tony himself greeted people at their tables during the meal and all of our salads, entrees, and desserts were delicious. We highly recommend this wonderful establishment.

Excellent!! The food, wait, and service were fantastic!! Our first time here. My husband’s beef tortellini with peas & prosciutto was the BEST tortellini we’ve ever had, from homemade to restaurants. You need to come here just for that dish! I had the eggplant involtini. It was smooth and delicious!
The personalized photos were a nice touch to the decor. We recognized many of the celebrities. But an added special layer was that the chef (Tony) came out to check each table during the evening. We’ve never experienced such a personal touch at other establishments in the area. As we walked to our table we learned the hostess has worked there 3 years and other family members have worked there as well-that says a great deal about the work environment. And the other servers greeted us or wished a good night. So glad we tried a “new place” tonight. We will be back when we come to town!

Our food was delicious, and the creme brûlée and tiramisu were very good. Our waiter Michael was really friendly and provided great service.

I usually like going to Gian-Tony’s—sitting at the bar after work, grabbing a drink and a hot meal. Tonight I ordered pickup instead, and it was a disaster. I got toasted ravioli, seafood ravioli, and chicken spiedini with a peppercorn cream sauce swap (extra charge—fine). The woman taking the order was clearly new, didn’t know the sides or sauces, had to ask—but she was nice, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. What I got? Bland cream sauce, no peppercorn, no flavor. Not even close to what I asked for. Then it got worse—they gave me the wrong pasta entirely. I ordered seafood ravioli and got scallop pasta. I called. The guy gave me attitude immediately. No apology—just “I looked at the receipt, you’re wrong.” After enough back and forth, he finally agreed to remake it, then called it beef ravioli. Second person now who couldn’t even name what I ordered. I pick it up, come home, reheat my chicken, and find a ripped piece of plastic in my mouth. I called again, and the first thing out of his mouth was, “What do you want me to do?” I had to lay it out—apologize, remake the food, and comp the meal. He came back with “the chef apologizes,” like he couldn’t even say it himself. Then had to go ask permission to comp it. Three trips, two hours wasted, cold food every time—and not one real apology. Then I find out they’re now refusing to reimburse anything. When I called back to ask why they were backtracking on what they already said over the phone, the response I got was: “Gian-Tony will not be calling you on a personal cell,” and apparently, they now consider a comped tiramisu enough to fix the whole thing. Absolutely not. Don’t lie to your customers, don’t flip the story, and don’t make people chase you down for basic decency. Gian-Tony’s is being sold anyway, and good—because the way this place is being run now is embarrassing. Or maybe he’s just been racking up lawsuits. Who knows.

Very disappointed with our recent dinner at Gian-Tony’s. Had to send back dinner salad because the lettuce didn’t look fresh. Sent back the sautéed spinach because it came out room temperature. One of the guests at our table ordered the seafood pasta. It had very little flavor. We were expecting a different experience. Probably won’t be going back.

My family and I have been going to Gian-Tony's for years. It is the best, authentic Italian food on The Hill. Nice variety of pastas and other Italian dishes. The Tortellini is my favorite. I also love the Eggplant Parmesan.

A hidden gem on The Hill that I take out of town guests as it feels like eating at Nonna's house. Rosa always greets with a smile and a wave and handles the bar with mastery. Michael is one of the most professional servers out there. Never writes it down and listens carefully. And I love coming to meet friends for a drink. Right across from Berra Park and Gioia's that's open during daytime hours, makes parking easy. I highly recommend every time.

We had dinner last night and William our server was fantastic! delicious food and amazing service! romantic atmosphere 💖
There is a lot to love and a lot to be desired. The service is fantastic. The bread is dry crap. I know, it’s just bread but this is an ITALIAN restaurant and they serve dry tasteless bread? Fried ravioli was ok but could use a better topping of cheese. The lamb chops were fantastic BUT the knives they gave were the cheapest cutlery that bent and kicked the chops off the plate. Why offer cheap knives? Veal parmigiana was just ok. Was more soggy than crispy and the veal didn’t have much taste. The crème brûlée was very good. Crispy sugar topping and creamy cream. A little over priced for not caring about details. They could just do a bit more to be a true 5 star experience. Still very good but lacking.
