We decided to try this spot and found it hidden in Dogtown. Its front entrance is clear, but not overly noticeable. Inside, we found amazing service and the best brisket I’ve had in my life.
The bartender was also waiting tables and was super friendly and attentive. She quickly provided us with our drinks and took our order. The bar had a lot of options and the food menu had a range of options from sandwiches to plates.
My wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich and she loved it. I ordered the brisket plate with pit beans. The beans were okay, not amazing, but the brisket was phenomenal. I ordered brisket most of the time when at BBQ and have never had it so good. It was tender, you could taste the smoke, and the sweet bbq sauce went perfectly with it.
We will be back!

The food was excellent!! I stopped in Clayton/St Louis on a roadtrip to Kansas City, I’m glad I did! This friendly neighborhood spot has tremendous food, a good vibe, and a fun local atmosphere. Best restaurant in the neighborhood. Food is outstanding and the staff is excellent. The only BBQ joint I have been to that can pull off a great sandwich that is not an overflowing mess (order the Argentine). If you are in Dogtown, worth stopping in.

A friend and I stopped by this place because we were craving some brisket. I order the brisket sandwich with a side mustard potato salad and an extra side of creamy coleslaw. My friend ordered the Brisket tray with a side of Mac and cheese. We stopped because they had a 4.7 review on Google. They deserve a 5💫 rating. The brisket was tender moist and delicious. I had never had creamy coleslaw it was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartender seamed to know everybody that was there. It was nice. It was a cozy place with a great atmosphere. I recommend this place for a great place to have a drink and some great BBQ. I will be returning.
