First time here
Had their version of the French Dip, with a real tasty au jui sauce. Also had the side dish of Mustard Potato salad. They let me have a sample of their Pit Beans. ( their version of baked beans). The whole meal was really good and the service was fine. Some of the dining table(s) are very small and the overall menu list doesn't have a great variety and although the meals might seem pricey The atmosphere, the food quality, and the service seem to make my first experience worthwhile. Almost forgot to mention the outdoor patio area. Probably capable of seating over 60+ customers comfortably.

Had a half rack of ribs and really liked them. Super tender, and full of flavor. Didn't get to try the sauces because the ribs didn't need any.

Perfect Brisket. Perfect ribs. Excellent! Will come again.
Incredible experience. First time here, so I ordered the French dip and Mac/cheese. The Mac and cheese was one of the best I have had in St Louis, and the French dip was excellent, the au jus was real, not just made from beef bouillon. I ate sitting under a photo of the Checkerdome, one of the places I missed when I moved back.

Food was very good. I'm usually on team give-me-a-plate, but the taco holder worked great for the pulled pork sandwich with slaw. It didn't fall open when I set it down, despite being heavily loaded. The mustard potato salad is aggressively mustardy, fair warning if you are only mildly a fan of mustard.

We had the half rack of ribs and the pit beans....the beans weren't bad, a lil on the sweet side. The ribs were fairly decent with the sauce. I ordered a margarita with sugar and received one with salt. I'm pretty sure they just pour it in another glass with sugar on the rim because it still had the salty taste....overall not a bad experience.

The good reviees got me in here, everything looked great at first, however the wings were so dry and seemed like they were reheated, rub had no flavor.. brisket was ok but same thing rub was missing flavor.
Seems like locals only go there and the staff focuses mainly on the bar buisness. Thought the portions woukd be at least bigger.. mustard potato salad... big no.
Food looked good just missing the taste.

Ate here for the first time and most definitely, will NOT be my last. 4 of us and every one of us absolutely loved our food. I had the Southtown and almost ate my fingers with it because I was devouring it. Service was top notch too.

Phenomenal BBQ! 😋 Brisket was perfect, the St. Louis ribs were falling off the bone, mac and cheese side was great, as was the mustard potato salad. Our server, Madison, was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!!

Food was delicious! Half rack of ribs each was plenty for me and probably most folks especially when paired with a side or two. Ribs were moist and tender with a nice rub and a good selection of sauces. We had the potato salad, creamy coleslaw, and pit beans and they were all great. Portions were a happy medium where it was enough to satisfy you without stuffing yourself or feeling slighted. Kids meals were reasonable at $7.50 and the chunky applesauce my kids picked was excellent. Not sure about parking as we walked from the zoo, a pretty easy 15 min walk from the south entrance. We ate inside as it was around 90 outside but they had patio seating as well. Staff was friendly and the wait wasn't too long. We had lunch around 1:45pm so maybe more of a crowd/wait at peak hrs.

Truly amazing brisket. Pappy's smokehouse is OK but doesn't even hold a candle to this brisket. Best BBQ place I've been to in St. Louis.
