We had dinner with friends here last night and it was fantastic. The shrimp toast was incredible. Scallops were fantastic. We had quite a list of different dishes and they were all great! Didn’t get pictures of it all but here’s some of what we had!
Indo was the place I celebrated my birthday at .I have always wanted to try this restaurant out, so I decided to reserve the sunroom. The decor was beautiful, but the food was the main attraction. The ribs were the highlight of the meal, with everything else being delicious. Everyone should order the ribs and you'll be glad you did.
They also gave me a surprise birthday treat 🎉🎂🎂
Good food, for the most part. Wagyu beef was underwhelming.
Perhaps the best meal I’ve ever had. Tried many items and all were delicious. Portions are small (mostly) but it makes sense if you order multiple things per person and share - reasonably priced too. Items were served one or two at a time in courses which was wonderful.
Highlights (for me) are the Garlic Chili Noodles, the salmon (Sake Yaki), Eggplant, and the coffee yuzu posset.
The single criticism I had is that the wagyu was good but a bit… much. Wagyu is often served without sauce or toppings for good reason, and I wish Indo did the same. It also took a bit longer than I would have thought (maybe 15 mins) to get our drinks after ordering. But, small issues with an otherwise perfect experience.
The salmon was the best I’ve ever had by a mile and one of the single best bites of food I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. Seriously, it’s that good. Overall, a wonderful meal and a good time. Service was also delightful - Kelly was extremely kind and helpful despite my many questions Throughout the night.
More menu items are needed. Atleast one simple menu item a day would be accommodating
I’m very picky when eating out because I usually prefer cooking at home and I was very impressed! I had the 2 vegan dishes: the salt and pepper tofu, and the chili garlic noodles. My partner got the mackerel and palm sugar ribs. The flavor was well rounded and complex, I was not disappointed at all. Price tag is a bit high considering the serving sizes but the portions were larger and more filling than I expected for “small plate”. The food came out very quickly, servers were pleasant and attentive, and the ambience is great, so in my opinion the overall experience is well worth it.
This visit was part of my healing journey! A self date! I was nervous at first. However, the moment I walked in the door, I was made to feel comfortable, and all my fear and anxiety went away! The mocktail Dreamboat, I believe it was called, was absolutely delicious and made the night feel special! The new cauliflower dish was spectacular! So unique and addicting! I can't wait to come back for it! The eggplant was delicious as usual and like no other! The sake sashimi was so light, fresh, and full of amazing, unique flavors! The scallops are always devine and a go-to! You can NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER leave Indo without trying the homemade ice cream. The flavor always changes and is always off the chain! This visit was apple pie and cheddar cheese! Creamy, slight tang with apple pie mixed thru so you get apple and bits or chunks of crust! Fire!
Thank you, Indo, for the wonderful service and amazing food!
PS....Love the sun porch!
Friendly service and delicious food. It was a bit loud in the sun room but it was also a Saturday night.
PROS: Great and friendly service. Not super fast, but not terribly slow. Food is great.
CONS: Food is pretty overpriced for how much you get, which isn’t very much. Small parking lot with somewhat suspicious street parking.
OVERALL: I would come back, but maybe I’d pregame my stomach, so I don’t show up too too hungry.
As promised - undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in STL

Wow 10/10. Delicious, wonderful staff, great vibes. Wish I was local to STL so I could come back all the time.
Exceptional dinner at iNDO - finally made it in and from arrival through departure, I really enjoyed everything. Service was wonderful and the food and sake were perfect. Highly recommend.
Came here for the first time and was absolutely blown away at by the food, atmosphere, and service. Andy was our server and executed the service perfectly. Everything we had was absolutely amazing with each and every bite. The scallops were to die for, the tofu was out of this world, and the shrimp toast was unbelievably delicious. We tried the mackerel and we decided our pallets weren’t ready for such a taste. We appreciate Andy wanting us to branch out of our comfort zone, but we went with other dishes like the cabbage salad and yellowtail. Perfect date night and overall experience.
Although the presentation of the food was visually appealing, the portion size was quite small and didn't justify the high price. Additionally, the taste didn't meet my expectations, as it was rather ordinary. Overall, I had hoped for a more satisfying dining experience, especially considering the cost.
The sashimi, cocktails and vibes were so good. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great experience.
