Excellent food 😋. I'm from California and I have been looking for a true soul food restaurant and I found this place in the heart of St Louis. Not dressy or formal place but good old fashion style and great customer service. Smothered chicken, Meatloaf, greens, dressing and Cornbread. Excellent.

Love the food here, but always a crowd.

I'm from Illinois, and very particular about my soul food. I've been living in St. Louis for almost four years, and had yet to find a good black owned soul food restaurant until a friend took me to Jaden's. Everyone behind the counter kept saying how I would be back because it was my first time. Boy was they telling the truth. Food is fresh, and those beautiful black queens do not be coming to play in that kitchen!!! Thank you ladies. I love how none of the food is over seasoned and you can dress it up anyway that suits YOUR taste buds. I've yet to be disappointed I've visited at least five times now❤️

Every time I go to St Louis I always have to have me some good soul food and this is my spot always have been for years

The food is alright. I wasn’t impressed with none of the sides. I get the same thing entree every time and it’s fried so it’s hard to go wrong with that. The line can be long and you can be waiting for 30-60 just to order if you arrive after 1130am.

I gave this a 3 star because although their door sign and google say they are opened till 430pm, they will shut down anywhere from 40-70 mins early. So coming anytime after 320pm is a gamble and potentially a waste a gas if they close early.
