If you're getting takeout, you have to go through the store. Which is unique. Plus just looking at all the different food while waiting. As a professional cook, it was a paradise. It's affordable. If you do it right. But for the most part. I would go there every day of the week if I could.
Great bubble tea and fried shrimp!
A little gem. Food and service was excellent 👌 we enjoyed the delicious Pho & jasmine tea.
Affordable Viet food
This place is hands down my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in St. Louis. Every dish consistently delivers amazing flavors, and the fast service is definitely a bonus. Their very affordable prices make it an even better dining experience. Only wish they were open every day!
The staff are very friendly. The food is always delicious!
Never a disappointment!
My favorite place I want to move in but they won’t let me 😂
Love the phokin veggie pho and the boba. One of my fav spots and love to go by myself and chill out with the fish tank. Great music and vibes. Plus there is a store attached, which is really cool
My party of four had hu tieu and banh canh. Both dishes had the same broth, which they shouldn’t, and different noodles. The shrimp in all of our bowls was spoiled. First bite of shrimp and we knew. Later, we all had negative experiences with the porcelain throne.
Out of all of the seafood broil I’ve had around town. This is by far the best.
Restaurantji Recommends
if you're looking for a relaxed casual neighborhood restaurant and you're not big on presentation or decor. This is a good spot to visit.
It's away from the chain of restaurants by Tower Grove.
Food is reasonably priced seafood is fresh (as far as I can tell anyway).
Right next door is the grocery side, where you find a variety of Asian needs. So it is convenient.
If you come on the weekends the restaurant also packages some of their meals to go you can pick up in the grocery, too.
Loved this place❤️
Reasonable price with really good food. Bo luc lac has room for improvement but the seafood hot pot is on point. We can pay with tab. You have to try their tea. I actually came back next day for their avocado smoothie with durian, real fruit, tastes so good.
I got Pho Ga and VNM iced coffee.
Pho came is a big potion with authentic flavor both broth and noodle. Coffee is another level of drink, so rich, strong, and came in the right sweetness.
All in all, it's 10/10
Honestly impressed. For a great price, they offer a wide selection of seafood, boils, and traditional Vietnamese food. Between the pho and the snow crab legs, I will definitely be back.
