Amazing bar to go to ! Hosts lots of fun events! The place to be at during the weekend! Usually have DJ's Fridays & Saturdays mixing up music to groove to. Then on Sundays starting at noon they have DJ's that play showtunes & throwbacks. Definitely 1 of my top favorite places! Have yet to have their food . Usually get vodka cranberry when I go.

Dj skipped my Karoke song because others were paying them. The rules never stated i had to pay to be picked. I was skipped several times. Not fun at all

I went there with my boyfriend and my best friend who visited me from 4 hours away. We walked into Just John and immediately the bouncer looked over to his coworker. They both scrutinized our IDs and said we can't come in because they couldn't "trust us" that night.... maybe we should come another night. Mind you, we are well over 21 and there was nothing abnormal about our IDs. He even tried to peel them apart himself to prove his hypothesis that our IDs just had to be fake; there was no way we could simply be legal adults who wanted to give our service to this place. We were treated like criminals for wanting to visit this club. Obviously, if you don't look a certain way, they will turn you away. I will never return to this place and will be sure to report this profiling incident to the necessary parties.

Average gay bar with decent gender neutral restrooms. It would be nice if they played more popular, current music that is trending. The service doesn’t always seem to be on point. The main issue I have is with the outdoor area. It can be difficult to traverse due to many levels that aren’t clearly marked and potentially a safety hazard! ⚠️

The only reason I write this is I am appalled at what I saw 7-3-24 at approx. 10:45 PM. I walked into the club to have a beer or two and saw a group of women that were having drinks. One of the women was seated, holding a passed out 5-7 year old girl. Yes, you read that correctly. The child was not drinking (I truly hope), but was obviously exhausted enough to be sleeping in someone's arms IN A NIGHTCLUB. EVERY SINGLE ADULT involved and also in the club has failed that little girl. THE ONLY reason I did not take a picture and post for all to see is that little girl. This is NOT a bar/restaurant where kids can come to eat and play a bit while the adults responsibly have some fun too. It is a 100 percent Adult venue with VERY adult things inside. AT 10:45 PM. I did inform STL Metro PD. I did practice some restraint and did not engage these "people" even though I was boiling inside. I left immediately. Unfortunately this is the world we live in where if I had acted quite appropriately I could be the one in hot water. This is not acceptable in any way. You poor little girl, please be OK.

Rude employees, terrible atmosphere, cursed overall Edit: To the hater business owner: I’m more butch than you could ever be. Buzz off and fix your business; quit getting into fights with patrons and hire nicer people.

This bar needs to work on their brand. They claim to be closed due to fights, but there are not any cops showing up to break up the alleged fights. I also witnessed them let at least five people in through the exit after claiming they were closed. Myself and many others had waited 30 plus minutes in line. In comparison when I went to the bar down the street they were screaming they were closed and not wasting peoples time! I understand unforeseen issues arise but communication is imperative in those situations and also you probably shouldn’t let your friends in the back door…. Also read their replies to reviews they seem rather arrogant and dismissive.

I genuinely love Just John’s , and I’ve been coming for some time now . But lately on Saturdays the music on the patio just hasn’t been hitting like it use to .. it’s like the same recycled playlist . There’s soo much good music that has been released it’s time for something new.
