This little place has really wonderful food. Being able to try food from a different culture other than my own is definitely one of my favorite things. I had the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and my boyfriend had the Gyro Salad and 11/10 will return. This is going to be one of my go to spots. The flavors are so different than what I am used to and they have reeled me in. Each time I have visited I have seen the same gal is who super kind and welcoming. It is a small place and I really enjoy that. Typically, I take my food to go but would like to enjoy eating there one of these days. The first time I was able to experience Kabul Express STL was due to a fellow co-working needing someone to pick it up and for the travel offered to buy me lunch. That evening I went home and convinced my boyfriend to give it a try. Twice in one day should say something about how good their food is.
Small family owned business, Owner was very welcoming and nice in conversation. Small dining room so ahead before dine in to make sure there is spots. Lambshank was a bit on the dryer end but still tastes great when they have it. always call ahead before wanting lambshank.

A simple new location with very friendly staff and extremely good food!!! I had the mango, coconut chicken & rice. My friend had the fall mango coconut. Both so excellent!!! And the naan too. We got extra. Highly recommend! We’ll be back and will bring friends!

Wanted some curry for dinner and my boyfriend found this place not far from us, went in and was greeted warmly by the owner. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala as our main entrees and they did not disappoint! Very flavorful and had great portion sizes. We ordered a strawberry lemonade boba drink that was refreshing and some baklava as a dessert. The baklava was so soft and yummy! After finishing our food, the kind owner gave us free homemade ice cream that was probably the best ice cream both me and my boyfriend have tasted. Highly recommend if you want some good food and as great atmosphere.
