I was exited to try local sushi place so close to me. I got Shrimp Tempura roll and Tamm Ave Roll as they were specialty rolls as I understood. Service was great and friendly. So for the price of $30 I got the smallest rolls ever. This is the first time I didn’t get full with just two rolls. They do taste good, but for the price don’t provide the value really. For the place that does only take out and charging premium I expected more or at least on par with other places (like Wasabi Sushi for example). I guess I am not the target audience for this place, I am sorry. I really wanted to like this take out. I won’t be back.

I’m visiting from out of town and saw a 5 star sushi take-out spot so had to check it out!
They were so friendly and everything is so fresh!
They were finishing up my order when I came in so I told them “no need need add the wasabi, save it” and then they made me a special piece with fresh wasabi on it (they source amazingly and don’t drench it in horse radish) and I could handle it! It was actually amazing!

Tried this place for the first time after a long travel day home to the Lou and we will DEFINITELY be going back! The quality of the sushi is superb and was some of the best tasting sushi we’ve had in St. Louis!!! Can’t wait to go back!
