Don’t let the pictures fool you. Ordered the monster bowl, not very big, and got 2 meats, rice, and lettuce… nothing else. The two guys working were not exactly friendly either.

Food was decent. However it wasn't the most authentic Korean ive had by a long shot. The bibimbap left something to be desired.
However I live in a county with probably the highest density of koreans outside of Korea.. and my neighbourhood has more Korean restaurants that any other.. so I may be used to a greater degree of authenticity than most people coming to this restaurant.

The food was great! I had wings and the monster kimchi fried rice bowl. The “monster” bowl was not as big as I expected, but the flavor was great. The spicy wings definitely have kick so get some water…

Called 3 times to place an order because the website wouldn’t let me and no answer. Got there 10 minutes before closing and tried telling the employee working that I made all the attempts to order in advance and all I wanted was 1 quesadilla. They said no. I had been driving all day and this was my first experience here. Was really looking forward to trying the food too.

Okay food with war-time rations portion sizes. Paid $3 for (not exaggerating) one bite of carrot. Embarrassing.

Me and my girlfriend were in town visiting STL on monday. My girlfriend is pregnant and has to use the restroom quite often so when she cannot hold it anymore it is my job find somewhere for her to go. We were going to see the Gateway Arch, and right by where we parked was Kimchi guys. We had passed by and talked about possibly going to eat there later. About halfway up to walking to the Arch she had to use the bathroom. So we turned around and headed back towards the shops we passed. We went into Kimchi guys as it was the first and closest place to the trail we were walking from. I asked the man at the counter kindly if they had a restroom that she could use as she is pregnant and cannot hold it for very long. The guy seemed nice enough to go ask for the code ,to a man who looked to either run the place or own it for he was wearing a suit. After maybe 20seconds of waiting he came back and said “Bathroom is for paying customers only.” The guy in the suit peered around the corner and just looked at us and scoffed while he was on the phone as we looked at him. Now as “tourists” and our first time in STL horrible impression on people as you never know who they could be. We both work for a family owned restaurant out in Kansas City and we never show this kind of horrible hospitality towards anyone. Not showing a shred of kindness towards the people who come into your business. Shame on you, your entire staff and ownership. All horrible, you lost a potential customer.

I ordered the Korean buffalo wings and honestly, they came out completely flavorless. I was expecting that spicy, tangy kick, but they just tasted plain and underwhelming. I also got the bibimbap, and unfortunately that wasn’t great either…. the rice tasted old and the overall flavor just didn’t come together. Really disappointing experience, especially for the price. I was excited for the wings toooo… 😔

Ordering was easy and fast. Staff was really kind and the restaurant was clean. Food was very good. I was surprised it wasn’t more busy on a weekend with there being a concert at the dome.

The original wings were the absolute BEST! The young gentleman who waited on us, also cooked and plated. You order and pay at the counter and he calls your name to come get your order. Delicious! The fries were great and so were the pork pot stickers or dumplings. That sauce with the dumplings was YUM!!! Will definitely return! Drove from Farmington to Bloomsdale. Picked up my bestest friend and drove up to the landing. Well worth it.

I love Korean fried chicken however this isn’t it. The chicken was super fatty and flavor wasn’t that great. Waffle fries and queso were amazing however. More disappointed at the cost to only stomach two wings out of 6

This place sucks. Avoid at all costs. They don’t even know how to run the register.

We had the vegan bibimbap, which wasn’t bad - but nothing is marked for gluten free. Turns out they marinade everything in soy sauce - so if you are vegan with celiac stay away from here. Food was OK but nothing great. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-09
