This is without a doubt THE WORST Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. They have the nerve to charge $3 for chips and salsa and they're soggy. AI slop on every TV screen. $10 for a margarita with no alcohol in it. $6 EACH for garbage little street tacos made on toilet-paper tortillas that fall apart the minute you pick them up, and they didn't even bring the ones I ordered.
I ordered a picture of margarita. It was all mixer and watered down. I didn’t even drink a full glass of it. The tortilla chips were stale. The queso dip was very thick and hardened quickly. The shrimp tacos were kind of tasty but the tortilla Was soggy. The rice and beans were OK. The restaurant was nice looking and the service was good. I eat very healthy so for me to have a cheat day and it be so disappointing sucks.
Best place to enjoy your Sunday nights 🤣🤣
Beautiful art, beautiful interior and patio, the whole place flows real well✨✨♥️
They even fixed the bathroom issue and now it's wayy more bearable than before!
The DJ on Sunday is fantastic! I love hearing Mexican cumbias. The bartenders are great too, really hospitable. Since Dos Salas closed, this is the best Latin bar/ club in STL so far
Fun Latin nights
Can get a bit crowdy,
Restrooms are unisex
Came here from out of town and was overall disappointed. My best friend and I waited at least 20 minutes at the main bar for a drink, which we never ended up receiving. The bartenders would make eye contact and not give any service, however they seemed to attend the men just fine.
After being ignored, we went to the back bar where they happily attended us with what they could.
DJ was great, we wanted stay longer for the music but we were not enjoying ourselves as much as we wanted to.
In addition, the overall crowd seemed to be filled with creepy men, as my best friend was approached multiple times and men persisted to bother her after she already told them she was not interested. Side note, their isn’t a sign saying bathroom is all gender.
The food was the only highlight. Other places in this area have a lot of people patronizing on a Thursday evening so at 8 pm when we walked in as the only patrons that was a red flag. A worker hiding in the bathroom on his phone, another doing shady actions by the register which is why we chose to pay cash versus card.
We happened upon this little gem because it was right around the corner from our VRBO. The street tacos are AMAZING! Margaritas flow perfectly! Service is fabulous! Only complaint is that we found it on our final night instead of the first.
I was kinda made to feel like I was a burden at 10pm when they are open till 2 am. I wasn't talked to, I just had my order taken, and that was it. It was just rude
Over the years, every-time I’ve gone to La Calle, it’s been SPECTACULAR… the drinks, the food, the service, the atmosphere, the vibes… you won’t go wrong. Even from the handlebar’s patio up high, you can smell the smoked meat, CALLING YOU TO THEIR SPOT. Go there any chance you can ✨

Food was cold and they gave us the bill before we got our food.
Awful service and food pacing. Out of items. Bad margs What food we got was decent but not good enough to excuse the service.
Above Average Mexican Cuisine
Great food and great atmosphere especially for a City SC game. The fried plantains are amazing.
The food looked and smelled good, I didn’t get anything. Loved my strawberry margarita. I went for an R&B night and it was so fun! The music was GREAT, the DJ was seamless, and people were dancing, enjoying themselves! My only complaint was they could’ve turned on a fan or cracked a door since people were actually dancing and getting warm.
