Marconi bread is pure perfection. You will not be disappointed. Lovely old time store, nostalgic but very clean. Excellent bread, great service, cozy old time feeling.

Come here multiple times a month with the wife for a cannoli date. Came here last week and they was out. Someone in the back told me to wait and made us two so we could keep up the dates we have together. Thank

This was the weekend before Christmas so probably not a really fair review. There was no Italian bread available when I went. Bought Frencg bread which was very good but not what I came for. I'll try another time.

Have many good memories eating this bread. My first girlfriend father worked at this bakery and or first date she made sandwiches and we went to tower Grove park for a picnic. I never tasted bread that good. The Italian loaf is amazing.

Their short loaf Italian bread with seeds is the absolute best!!! I make my stuffing with it, among using it for sandwiches and toast.....

I've lived in the Hill for about 3 years and love this place. My first time going I grabbed a sandwich, got some advice from the guy behind the counter about some local places to buy the best sandwich ingredients, and while I was outside eating the sandwich and watching some videos, he came outside, gave me a glass of water (totally unprompted), gave me a friendly pat on the shoulder, and told me "something to wash it down with, my friend". Seriously, who the hell does that anymore? Great people, amazing food.

Bread is so simple but so hard to get perfect! Marconi Bakery's Italian loaf is spot on perfection. The crust is crusty and not too thick or too thin. The inside is light and airy without too many holes. Not too dense either. But the crust flavor reminds me of the coal fired ovens North East NY and PA Italian bakeries you would hit on a Sunday morning after Mass to get a just out of the oven warm loaf in a white paper bag! Rise to the occasion and get a loaf today!
