Everything is made-to-order from a big menu board inside. The spring rolls are so fresh!!! Such a cute little shop please go so it stays open through covid.

The owner was great, very nice and funny. Really good experience. Quiet and laid back. Very relaxing. The food was also really good. The portions aren't huge, but that's fine because like I said it's good.

Food was great. And the service was excellent. They were very helpful to make sure you didn't get a dish with more spice than you could enjoy as well

Everything was amazing and the service was great! We got the samosas, tiki masala, and potato curry which was all delicious.

Had a delicious dinner tonight - chicken nihari, garlic naan, chicken tandoor, basmati rice. All were excellent. Also had off-the-menu saag paneer (spinach with house made cheese), which was fabulous. Great value, quick and friendly service. We will be back.

Chicken nihari was the perfect level of spice and super flavorful; chicken was tender. Garlic Naan was great. Service was excellent and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Visited from out of town and came here with a big group. The service was very friendly and the food was great. They took their time to explain the menu and made sure we got what we were looking for. Nice little shop in this part of town.

Oh man, the food was outstanding. Best meal of the quarter for sure. The owner matched the heat I wanted perfectly.

Me and my friends had Chicken Biriyani and couple of other chicken specialities. Food was well spiced and tasted really good. The restaurant was clean and the service was awesome.

We had a great meal at Masala! I had the Lamb Biryani and my friends got Lamb Nihari and Chicken Nihari. We also shared an order of Garlic Naan and Aloo Paratha. Everything tasted amazing! Our waiter was the owner and he was very nice, gave us recommendations, always kept our water filled, and even told us some great jokes! We asked for "medium spicy" but two of us decided we will try it more spicy next time. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!

Got this on DoorDash, unfortunately the worst Indian food I've had in stl. We got the chicken tikka masala and vindaloo lamb. The tikka masala has a gritty texture and a very mild flavor. It didn't even taste like chicken tikka masala. And when I first saw the vindaloo, I knew something wasn't right. Vindaloo is a spicy dish which is supposed to be a dark maroon in color. This was a yellow. Again, did not taste like vindaloo and it was mostly potatoes. And on top of it all, it wasn't cheap. They don't provide rice as an addition to the dish, so you have to pay for it, which brings up your total per dish. Overall, a huge expensive disappointment.

Fun experience! The owner was funny and easy to chat with. The menu had a wide selection--we had lamb and goat which were both delicious. Don't be put off by the unassuming appearances, you'll be glad you ate here!
