Mission Taco Joint - Delmar Loop

Vegan meat options! Also, there was a glitch with their website and it said they offered delivery (I was at the hospital with my husband) so I ordered delivery. They actually do NOT deliver. When I called to see where they were. The
manager, personally brought me our food! Talk about above and beyond service!

Came in for dinner and drinks. They were out of two of the three tacos we wanted to order. Server recommended the most expensive thing on the menu that wasn’t comparable to what we wanted.
The food was good and I can’t complain about that though my partner and I had to switch plates because what was recommended (Governors Tacos) were too spicy for him. I was sad to give up my Brahrito.
When I ordered a margarita, the server asked what tequila I wanted. I assumed tequila was included in the price but when we got our check, we were charged for the margaritas AND tequila. Again, the server recommend the most expensive tequila and never told us it would be an extra charge. The margaritas ended up costing us twice what was listed in the menu.
The server was just trying to make her bag so I can’t hate her for that but it felt shady. If tequila is an upcharge for margaritas or if there’s a separate charge for premium tequila, that needs to be communicated.

While I waited for my tacos I sat at the bar, and I'm so glad I did. Kia is the best bartender ever. She was hilarious and super friendly. You should go here just for her.

Whenever I see a concert at The Pageant or Delmar Hall I make a trip here! The name has recently changed, but the food is still amazing!! The Nashville chicken taco has become one of my favorites!! Kia at the bar was extremely personable and made great drinks!
P.S. please bring back the Yucatan Pork taco

The best Mai Tai I have ever had in my life and I have drunk a LOT of Mai Tais.

Great relaxing atmosphere! The good was ok!

This was my first time to this Mission taco location. The food was fantastic. It is difficult to find vegan options in such variety. Thomas was the chef tonight. And everything was very flavorful and delicious! I’d give 1st are if I could. Carlos was our server. He was very courteous and a very attentive server. I will definitely be back!

Carlos the server and Thomas the bar tenddie, straight up nailed it. I needed THAT burrito and THAT drink. The fellas delivered.

I had a carry out order placed online. The quoted ready time was accurate, the staff was friendly and efficient. My food was hot and delicious.

Food was solid, had the Brah-rito with queso. Great beer selection as well. Beck was a fantastic bartender. Sometimes you can tell people are faking their attitude, but with Beck, it’s clear that’s her genuine personality.

I sent the tacos back because the meat was literally cold to the touch, and it came back cold again. Buy a new microwave.
