Great place for those of us that really don't know much about beer! Why? Mainly because you can buy beer an ounce at a time. Not sure if you're going to Linke whatever comes out of that tap? Try a taste and move on to one of about 40 other options if it wasn't the right pour for you. Downside is you spend more per ounce. A real beer fan might notice but I go out for beers so rarely that it's just not an issue.
You guys should really do something about the bearded bartender who is rude and has a gatekeeper attitude towards kind patrons who aren’t as familiar with beer. It’s clear many other reviewers have had bad experiences. The two younger bartenders we had this weekend were great, so it is not the whole staff! They were more professional. Located not far near the corner of Delmar and Skinker, parking was a beast. I was meeting up with a MeetUp group there and as soon as I stepped in, I was instantly overwhelmed by how crowded it was an also the weird smell (like sweaty men and booze).
