Excellent sandwiches and great service. I had the Muenster Melt, and it was simple but fantastically executed and constructed. The folks behind the counter were kind and our sandwiches came out quick. If you’re considering getting sandwiches for lunch, instead of throwing your money at one of the big corporate franchises, hit up Mound City for an affordable, high-quality experience. Places like these are too few nowadays, especially in STL.

The food is gross. The service is misleading. Like, the workers don't know what they're doing. The place is not clean.

I did not go into this place, so I can only comment on the sandwich that came from it and what my co-worker who picked up the sandwich said which seems to be accurate to what most others have said as well. It's a short staffed place that has 2 people working, a long line during lunch, but they are nice and it works fairly fast. The sandwich, I had their Mound City Special and I can't say that it was anything overly special. It was a sandwich about on par with what one could get from Schnucks' deli. For a place to put their name on that sandwich was a little disappointing, but some people do like those types of sandwiches, I just wasn't overly impressed with it.

always right

Food is wonderful. The location is good. Whoever owns the building sucks. Parking lot has potholes so huge, you need your bright lights on when you drive in them. Keep up the good food mound city

Great sandwiches if you can swing the price. $16 bucks for a whole sandwich is getting kinda crazy for me. If your going at lunch time go early.

Mound City serves huge sandwiches that are full of meat and other tasty goodies. The menu choices and combinations of ingredients make options seem limitless. Dining in is an option, but this is more of a takeaway place. If your lunch time is short or you're in a rush, you'll be in and out quickly.

I eat here regularly for lunch and it's excellent every time. Best $7 you can spend for lunch on Market street. Make sure you have time to wait in line, but it's worth
