Food is amazing and portions are huge. A bit of a wait but it’s worth it if you have the time.
Worst experience I ever had . Never go back there again

Saturday October 26 my party of 4 came to this restaurant we got here at noon. 5 minutes later were finally greeted by a young lady, with a pink headband, who told us they had to clean the table and we would be seated. The bar was rolling! Seating and serving guest who walked in after us. We waited 45 minutes for a lady with 2 pig tails to come to the desk and speak to a party who was there. She told them they could sit by the window. I told her we been there since noon and we had been waiting and was next since the other party before us left. She still told them to sit because they had a reservation for 1245. I said ma’am I understand that but we were waiting since noon and was told yall were cleaning a table. She told me they had a reservation and to go sit by the window and I’ll bring you menus. I was mind blown. I understand them having a reservation but if you had your staff clean the dirty tables we would’ve been sat 45 minutes ago. This is truly sad because being from Louisiana I wanted to support a black owned business. Unfortunately, this is not it! So disappointing. Please hire a front of the house manager!

Let me start by saying BRE our server was AMAZING & very patient! But HORRIBLE experience? I will NEVER patronize this establishment again!!! The atmosphere was smooth walking in but eventually you notice the staff peeping your every move. I say this to say they take advantage of you if you’re not aware of your surroundings. It was daughter’s 19th birthday & they attempted to steal her Pandora gift right off the table! Now of course these are your young girls so they’re not paying attention & I know a lot of you who’s reading this saying they gone learn the hard way but NAWWWW not on my watch whenever I’m around! We have to protect our children & try to lead them the best way we can. But I’m still trying to wrap my head around HOW df the bag end up under the pool table from the table it was sitting on INSTEAD of asking my daughter & all her dam friends at the table who this belongs too?! Like someone make it make it sense to me because that was thieving a$$ weird behavior I’m very upset because it be yo own people taking advantage of one another. Y’all real slick petty down there. BOLD AF!!!! P.S my drink was ? but the infamous Chicken & French Toast wouldn't it grease was black af & needs to be changed! Guess you gotta catch the food in daytime??

Today was me and my guy first time here. After seated it took the waitress 20 minutes to come to our table with our water we asked for as well as menus. After another 20 minutes we had to call on another waitress to tell our waitress that we’ve been ready to order. Fast forward all of our food was brought out separately 5-10 minutes at a time. Everything we ordered they didn’t have like the Philly eggrolls and some wings we wanted. I ordered a loaded nachos with no jalapeños and when I got it it was full of them. Our table as well as the tables around us weren’t clean and the floor was full of straw paper and trash. A party of 6 came in and was told to wait because the area we were by was filthy and needed to be cleaned. Mind you it was 3 waitresses on duty and only 1 a young girl with braids was the only one working. One girl was on her cell phone the entire time and even while taking our order. Mind you every time she came to our table we had to have another waitress to go get her. They also serve your drinks in them old time hard plastic cups and then brought us out the flimsiest plastic wear. I asked did they have silverware they said yes but didn’t have any one to pass it out which lost me.

Came here with my wife and 2 small children. Once seated, the waiter said she was bringing water. We waited exactly 26 minutes before anyone came back to check on us. Keep in mind the restaurant was not busy at all. We finally received water 35 later, after having ask again for something to drink. The young waitress had a nasty attitude, like somebody owed her something. Food finally came out. Alfredo was bland, midtown funk plate lacked flavor as well. On top of eating the bland food, we were fighting off flies simultaneously. My bill was $99 for me, wife and 2 small children. I left there feeling cheated out of money. And will most likely not come back nor recommend them. If they don't have the passion for good food and good customer service then they should just close their doors, because people don't have money to throw away to support your business.

I traveled to ST Louis for the Cardinal game from Chicago and my friends and I decided to try Mozay for brunch. The atmosphere was okay. However when it came time to order I asked if I could order something from the “Breakfast” part of the menu and I were told we could only order from the “Brunch” menu. So I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. My eggs came out first and they were doused with parlsey and I asked the waitress could they be remade without parsley. When she brought the new plate of eggs out (pictured above) they were not completely done, they were very oily and they tasted horrible. She then brought out the shrimp and grits which were also doused in parsley and a white cream sauce that tasted like Alfredo sauce. The food was horrible. I then told the waitress that I did not want the food. The manager never once came over to our table to ask why I didn’t like the food.

My sister’s and I were in St. Louis on vacation from different States, looking for a nice Black Owned Restaurant. We came across MoZay’s. Although the waitress very nice, this Restaurant has some growing pains. She brought one meal out, while the other 2 meals were still being prepared. No silverware, we were greeted by another customer telling us we can sit wherever we wanted. Very unprofessional. No one said anything. They need work to keep this Restaurant a float. If you’re visiting St. Louis for the first time, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. All condiments were empty, they had plastic utensils. You’ll need to get your own. If I could give them a 0 star, I would. The Owner was outside, washing the rugs in his car, on the sidewalk. Never asked how was the service or food. My recommendation would be, to avoid this Restaurant at all cost.

First timer. Ate brunch with a friend today.
The atmosphere is warm, inviting but gives a café feel. The staff is young and respectful.
I ordered pancakes and fried salmon with grits. It was tasty. The salmon was huge, though. Made me scared, lol. I still ate it. Lol. Food came out fast. Not a long wait. We arrived at noon.
They had plastic forks only. We had to ask for knives. We were told they didn't have any.. I'm not sure if that meant period or if they weren't clean.
They gave us plastic knives in a plastic pack with napkin, spoon, and fork. It was a substitute but not okay.
I recommend it. However, due to the logistics, I rated them a 4.. probably shb a 3.5. But I'll round up.
An entree averages 20 to 30 bucks.
Parking: Paid street parking but free on Sundays and I think after 7pm on other days.. but be sure to confirm.
