Love them, but I must admit I'm a bit upset about the recent price hike. When you order two appetizers, namely 1 wonton and 1 crab Rangoon and it's the price of an entree, yeah that's something to be unhappy about.

I am a regular customer of New China. My dinner this evening (beef egg foo Yung and beef/shrimp fried rice) is very disappointing. Over the past 4 to 6 months the consistency of the food has varied dramatically, unfortunately, tonight is one of those when the food is bad. It is the absolute worst I've experienced... I'm not sure what is happening here but I hope it is rectified. Disappointed in south city.

This place has really gone downhill. Used to be one of the best restaurants in South City. Now it's one of the worst. Food quality gone down drastically. Portions way smaller. And service is mid at best. Very disappointed to see this restaurant just become one of the rest. I can see why people in the city prefer North City Chinese takeout better. I'll try that from now on.

I have been going here for quite a few years but I think this is a new owner operation hear I had the combination Fried Rice a simple dish but it was extremely dark brown and had a greasy taste that s stayed with me and was not pleasant for me. I don't expect I'll be returning I'll be looking for another Chinese restaurant near me with with tasty fresh quality food at a reasonable price. Good luck

I drove from Florissant to South city just for this rice and I was highly disappointed. This used to be my favorite spot but I wont be back anytime soon. I had a large order where is spent $78 and the only thing that was liked was the egg rolls and crab rangoon.
Use to be my favorite. Goin down hill. Gave me the wrong order And scrap the wrong food out the Box and put food on top of it. My rice and crab Rangoon are cold After they remade it.

If you visit on Thursday Friday for sure during lunch the food is awesome because the owner are cooking at that time!
