The best Chinese food I’ve had in years. I always get sweet and sour chicken combo.🔥. Wish they had a second menu hung in the waiting area, Away from the window. I always wanna try something new but I walk to the window to look at the menu and they are immediately there like I know what to i get all ready . That’s why I’ve only gotten the one thing.. no update menu available online. But besides that, the food is fantastic. Hot and fresh. Plus they have all flavors of Faygo and Vess!

This is as hole in the wall kind of place as you can imagine. It is not a sit down place. You walk inside and it’s like you’re at a train station waiting area where people line up to purchase tickets. I came here for the famous local St Paul’s sandwich. Ok legit it was awesome. And the price point was decent. I bought two for the road. I sat there way too long for a couple sandwiches as this place appears quite busy even outside of typical rush hours, and I got the sense that this place attracts some “interesting” individuals. I did not want to be in there any longer and got back in my car fast.

Good meal overall. First time stopping here. The curry chicken was tender. The prices are very reasonable. The wonton soup was yummy and not over salted. The lady at the counter was very pleasant. The combo meals are a great way to go.

Love them, but I must admit I'm a bit upset about the recent price hike. When you order two appetizers, namely 1 wonton and 1 crab Rangoon and it's the price of an entree, yeah that's something to be unhappy about.

I am a regular customer of New China. My dinner this evening (beef egg foo Yung and beef/shrimp fried rice) is very disappointing. Over the past 4 to 6 months the consistency of the food has varied dramatically, unfortunately, tonight is one of those when the food is bad. It is the absolute worst I've experienced... I'm not sure what is happening here but I hope it is rectified. Disappointed in south city.

This place has really gone downhill. Used to be one of the best restaurants in South City. Now it's one of the worst. Food quality gone down drastically. Portions way smaller. And service is mid at best. Very disappointed to see this restaurant just become one of the rest. I can see why people in the city prefer North City Chinese takeout better. I'll try that from now on.
