A luncheonette-style start-up on the tail end of the South Grand strip, Waaberi has a short menu of curries and appetizers. The owner-chef-waitstaff is very friendly and eager to please. We had a curried chicken dish with potatoes and a goat entree. Both were very good. The goat was a bit gristly, but then again, that's goat for you. We had appetizers that I think were called "somposas" -- triangles of meat-filled crust. They were killer, as was the hot sauce that came with them....read full review
Three visits and each time the owner is so friendly and willing to explain Somali food. Really looking forward to them expanding their menu. My favorite so far has been the goat curry with chai.
