Original Pancake House Reviews
Very disappointed to find out this restaurant is registered on Public Square. You have a problem with diversity and others who aren’t like you. It’s a shame that you’re the same owner of the Ladue location where Black people prop your business up.
Always fresh & delicious 😋

The Original Pancake House Ladue offers a delightful dining experience with a variety of menu options, including the Andouille sausage skillet, Cinnabon pancakes, and Georgia pancakes. Customers praise the delicious food, with highlights like the seasonal pumpkin pancakes, fruit Dutch baby, and thick-cut bacon. While some find the prices a bit high, especially since most items are a la carte, the tasty and fresh dishes make it worth it. Breakfast can be around $20-$25 per person, making it feel like a special occasion place.
The restaurant is known for its attention to detail. Every pancake is made from in-house cultured sourdough batter, and high-quality butter is used. The eggs are prepared with clarified butter, and the bacon is Daily’s brand, regarded as one of the best. The coffee, roasted by Dubuque coffee in St. Louis, and freshly squeezed orange juice add to the overall quality. The room has a cozy, classic diner vibe with clean wood tables and simple, well-kept place settings. The service is also highly praised, with courteous and efficient staff members providing timely check-ins for water and coffee refills. Although it can be busy, there is usually a seat at the counter, and customers look forward to returning for more of their favorite dishes.
