Food was made fresh which I like. Ordered a general tso and sesame chicken plate. It was ok, and its definitely not authentic like when I was growing up. Both chicken dishes tasted the same which was appalling. If you're looking for something fresh and fast try it out, but if you want authentic dishes then don't waste your time.

I love that this hidden gem is in walking distance of my home.It fills my cravings for Chinese food. My favorite is the pork egg foo
yong with its yummy gravy! The order time is usually quick. The woman at the counter is friendly, quick, efficient and a pro at keeping the front & back of the restaurant flowing smoothlyđ Love this place! I have enjoyed many meals from there! Try their pot stickersđ

Ordered online for delivery last night. Two.people, two apps and meals was $60 including delivery and tip. Estimate delivery time was an hour. Seemed like a long time, but was willing to wait as I'd never tried it. Approximately 45 mins later, received an email and text that the food was picked up and was given driver information (Islomobek was the driver). Was given 8-10 mins for delivery. I prepared for dinner arrival. Approximately 20 mins later I checked the tracking link that I was sent and the tracking link no longer had driver information and simply stated that my order was being prepared. I called the store and they told me the driver already picked it up and should be 15 - 20 mins. They were clearly bothered that I called.
20 mins later still no food. Still no tracking and now I'm hangry. I call back. I asked them to make the food and send someone else to deli it or cancel my order. They gave me attitude and told me they could not cancel the order that I needed to call a third party since I ordered online. I asked the person to just make my food and deliver it to me as ordered over an hour and a half ago, she refused and ended up hanging up on me.
Completely horrible experience from the very beginning. Do not recommend and will not try again.
For $60 Chinese food with no drinks, I would have thought they might have some customer service and wanted to get the food to me or provide some options. Truly upsetting.
Good luck

Food was just meh- no flavor. I will not be ordering from here again- beef was hard- chicken was unrecognizable 𫣠- the egg roll was decent. Broccoli was barely cooked. I took a few bites and threw it away- honestly still starving and wasted my money. The lady at the front counter never looked up from her cell phone while checking me out for my order- customer service is non existent.

This is our favorite Chinese carryout in Kirkwood. It always smells very clean, they prepare orders very quickly.
My husband doesn't like that many of their chicken dishes are breaded, but otherwise this is in our weekly dinner rotation and the owners are friendly. It was recommended to me by a local firefighter. (5 stars relative to Kirkwood not my general dining experience).

I got the hot braised combo plate and all I can really say isâŠ..The crab Rangoon was cool.
I knew this was gonna be bad the second I took the lid off and saw the chicken still shaped like the Tupperware.
The smell was off - wasnât giving chinamenâŠ.
The rice just wasnât it. Feels like they use the store bought/premade fried rice seasoning..
The HBC was all breading - the meat inside â stringy, dry dry dry!
This would probably hit for underdeveloped tastebuds like kids or for someone whoâs cool with China King, but for me?
You got me.

We waited over 90 minutes for a pickup order on Christmas Eve. We called at lunch time to place the order. At no time did they mention that our order was initiated when we arrived for pickup. This has literally ruined our night regardless of how good the food ends up being. I understand itâs a very busy night. That is why we ordered at lunch time. I would have even been understanding if they had simply said it would be about 90 minutes when we arrived, and we could have gone home and done family activities until it was ready. It was a terrible experience and we will never be back.

The lady who took my order was rude and there was a kid in there doing their homework so I knew this was going to slap harder than my momma on report card day. Boy was I right, best fried rice Iâve ever ordered that wasnât in front of bullet proof glass. St. Paul was on point too, definitely a must visit if youâre in the area.
