We have gone to Pappy’s for our trips to St Louis dating back to 2016. All prior ratings would have been Awesome. This go around 4 full slabs ordered and the review unfortunately way over peppered and over cooked. The ribs were partly tender in spots but with too much seasoning that was noticed in each bite. Really disappointing. Hopefully just an off batch but big miss for us

We had over a hour wait in line, very popular. The line was out the door. The food was fantastic, I would wait a second hour.\n\nWe had eaten at Salt and Smoke the previous day, no comparison! Pappy's is the place to go for BBQ.

Got the brisket with sweet potato fries and pickles. My friend got the ribs and corn. Both were good, very tender. The sauce was also really nice (I tried all four and we really liked the spicy one the most).

The lineup was long when we got there but it was pretty quick, I think we had a 20-30 minute wait so not too bad (I once waited for an hour at a different BBQ place).
