Our service here was phenomenal, by Ashley! She was the only server on the floor from 5pm until we left, waiting on approximately 30-50 people at any given time. She was kind, professional and she never once showed any signs of frustration or overwhelm. I’m leaving 5 stars because of Ashley and Ashley alone. I’m incredibly disappointed in the lack of support that was provided by her restaurant manager last night.

The food is delicious. The service is good when it's direct. But the staff would yell across us to each other. And very close to us, two (younger) employees were having a pretty loud conversation about personal things right in front of us. It was a bit uncomfortable but I didn't want to say anything and make it more awkward. We have gotten to go quite a bit. I will say, when you get the grande Pasta House salad, a super delicious must get every time, you get double the amount of salad when you eat in compared to to go. This has been a thing for over 10 years.

Today was incredibly disappointing at this Pasta House. We were there over an hour to order kids meals. Wrong drinks were given, we had five different servers, no silverware, no rolls. At least five tables came and left before we were even served. I understand being short staffed is frustrated, but still the service was completely unacceptable.

After reading another review from 2 mos. ago complete with pic I'm thinking I should have taken a pic of my tiramisu from last night's take out - no way tiramisu should be DRY on the inside. Lasagna special offered, my favorite. When I got it home & sat down to eat, there was a tough lasagna noodle under the lovely sauce & cheese, which I removed & discarded. Since they have moved from their U. City/Delmar location, I find the take out service is hit & miss. Once you get all the way home with your dinner, you aren't going to turn around & come back when it's got a problem. Manager, please don't let your staff send the mistakes home in the take out meals... who wants to keep returning for that? Plus, food is too expensive to get it home & throw something away. I like the Pasta House, & would hate to stop eating there.

I do not like spicy food. So if you also do no like spicy food DO NOT EAT the Cannelloni unless you like spicy food. The meat in the noodle set my mouth on fire. I am sick and tired of going to restaurants, and they always serve spicy food. I wish to hell they would warn us when they do that. I have been eating at pasta house for the last 40 years and it's just been the last few years that it has been very spicy. Same as Kentucky Fried Chicken, so damn spicy I can't eat it. Colonel Sanders changed his recipe & did not tell anyone. Because so many people eat spicy food and don't even know it is spicy. How can you taste the food with all of the spice added to the food. Porter's Chicken you are awesome & maybe other restaurants can do what you do and offer spicy sauce to put on their chicken.-

The fettuccine alfredo was creamy and tasted great. I added shrimp to make it even better. The menu should specify that the toasted ravioli has meat in it that way vegetarians don't get their hopes up. Though I'm not vegetarian, I thought they only had cheese and I didn't care for the taste of the meat. Ashley was a very great waitress that stayed on top of it throughout our whole meal. Management was very professional as well. The menu is extensive, so I recommend coming here if you've never been.

I have no idea why I keep coming to this pasta house but I must be a glutton for punishment. First of all when dining in the service is atrocious. I mean you can't get a server to help you if you we're choking and dying.On top of that they are the rudest people I have ever met. The young lady, who says she's a manager is the most unfriendliest person in the world. I literally just picked up an order and had mentioned to them that last time they forgot my rolls and that I would like some extra rolls and not a word was said but eyes were rolled and I was made to feel uncomfortable. Then I tip them because that's what I do and said goodbye and not one word. Really? Is it that difficult to give your customer an extra roll? There are way too many instances to even continue but this location needs a huge overhaul in employees and management.

We had such a bad dining experience here it became almost comical. We saw they closed at 8:00 so we made it a point to get to the restaurant before 7:00. There were several parties seated when we arrived. We ordered quickly to be polite and make sure we were done well before closing. Everyone else got their food, finished eating and left. We sat there waiting. It took over an hour for our food to come out. By the time we were finally served the workers had started stacking chairs on the tables, mopping and sweeping all around us, and glaring at us as if we were keeping them there late. We had just been served but instead of enjoying our food, we ate a bit as fast as we could and had the rest put to go and left. It was a terrible experience.

Horrible experience. Waited 45 minutes after ordering for our food. Only 3 small parties were seated. Waited another half hour for the check we asked multiple times for while our server was nowhere to be seen.
