Cafeteria: call me crazy but the biscuits and gravy and western hash browns are delicious. Pleasantly surprised! Thank you for a hot breakfast while waiting for a friend who was having out patient surgery.
The gravy is like thickened sludgy and flour-y and inedible
Absolutely, love the A1 aioli sauce on the burgers and hotdogs. The food is great and there are so many options. The staff is so sweet and friendly. Sitting and enjoying the dinning area is great too. There’s plenty of seating to go around. It’s a very clean and sanitary environment with great care. The staff is always ready to answer any questions you may have.
Salad bar has so many options, fried potatoes, baked potatos, onion rings, chicken wings, cheese burgers, soups, honestly you name it, it's up there. You pay by weight of your food so the price is solely up to you and your tummy . Did not disappoint

Idk what the other reviewer is talking about, but the burger area is self-serve. The sandwiches are laid out under the heating lamps, as well as the fries, and you find which burger you'd like and you just take it and pay for it. So basically the guy complaining about not being served, was just standing there getting mad for no reason then took it a step further by telling his management.
I'm a contract worker here and the cafe staff has always been super friendly, and welcoming to me. The food isn't terrible either for "hospital food"

Stood at the counter of the burger area at Barnes cafeteria today, waiting to order. The gentleman working that area (Maurice) walked right past my girlfriend and I to wait on a lady who we watched walk in after us. We remained patient. Once Maurice waited on the customer, we were still standing at the counter waiting to place our order. Once again, Maurice, walked right my us and waited on a gentleman who walked into the cafeteria 5 minutes after we did. We spoke to the supervisor on duty (Chris). He said to let us know if Maurice continued to behave this way. As a former worker in retail grocery sales, I believe Maurice needs a serious talk about the importance of customer service. He was one of the rudest service workers I have ever encountered.
