Racanelli’s New York Pizzeria

I stopped in while shopping in downtown Kirkwood because they offered pizza by the slice. I ordered a slice of the tomato basil and it came out hot and was delicious! Huge slice, great price!

This place has gone downhill big time. The service is awful. The last few times I have come here the wait is a ridiculous amount of time even when you call ahead. I placed an order at 1:15 for a pickup. They told me to come at 2:15. I have been the only one sitting here for almost a hour. There are at least four employees working and no one acknowledging me. I also watched one of the employees on her phone, then directly touching the toppings without gloves on or washing her hands. Very disgusting and unsanitary. I am not sure why there has been no other customers in here the entire time I have been waiting, but the pizza is still not ready on time. If they didn’t make me pay up front, I would have definitely left and never picked it up. After an almost two hour wait for a single pizza, I received it and it is awful quality. The amount of cheese on my pizza makes it inedible. It’s dripping outside of the box. It’s completely doughy in the center and not cooked all the way. This is definitely my last time ever giving them a chance. Rather than refunding the order, they want me to drive 20 minutes back, to show them the mess up on their end. Horrible service, atmosphere, and food quality. Definitely overpriced as well. Save yourself the hassle and go to Dewey’s across the street! I also wanted to add that there was a child running around the kitchen, throwing toys in the dining area. This should not be happening in a public restaurant setting. Very disappointed!

Being from NY, I had to try Racanelli's. It was good. Better than I expected. It wasn't quite Bronx pizza, but it was close. And the Garlic Cheesy Bread was delicious.

Best New York style pizza in St. Louis. They also have the best staff. They work hard to create the best pies in STL!

Their AC is completely out! It’s like 90 degrees in here. Employees wiping the sweat off of their faces. I feel bad for them!

I would give less than a star if I could. We were never able to order. The person behind the counter was on her cell phone while we waited for 10 minutes to order ultimately leaving and going somewhere else. We were never waited in after the woman acknowledged us she went into the back where she proceeded to talk on the phone.

This is a very good pizza place for takeout. Their pizza crust is delicious no matter what toppings you choose. One of our favorites!

Had a Too Good To Go order, but when I arrived, no one was there. Lights off, and the place was empty.

Food is great I had a great experience and meal the food came fast workers are great but especially shout out to Sam, he was great and he made me feel especially welcome and he was one of the best workers I’ve met at a restaurant so props to him. I don’t have a single complaint about the place it’s a great place all together and especially the service.

Our favorite pizza! We usually go after the magic house for a slice and chill. The employees are so nice. New York style is where it’s at, STL. Ya gotta love a good cheese pull. Great spot. Thank you, guys!
