We arrived at 6:15pm on a Friday night. Staff came to the door and said, “We’re closed for the night.” Walked to a restaurant across the street.
Good pizza just around the corner but service needs to be improved hold time of call in for 20 min before I hung up, and the person answering has an attitude idk if the food is worth the poor service
Super unsatisfied customer here.To say the service at the central west end location is subpar is putting it as nicely as I can. I am a construction worker that works outside everyday and have a strict lunch schedule, but every once in a while I get to spoil myself, thought this was one of those daysBOY WAS I WRONG! So starts out I called the location to place an order the "lady" that answered the phone was short, huffy, and just plain rude. I placed my order and she said "we won't be able to get to that till 11:30 we're catering a party." So I said that's fine I won't be there till around noon. She took my order for 1 Stromboli. So lunch break rolls around at 12:05 and I am 5 min. Away so I beat feet to get up there.When I arrived i waited in line then when I got to the cashier she said in her rudest voice possible when I gave her my name "WE HAVENT EVEN STARTED THAT...ITS GONNA BE ANOTHER 10 MINUTES BEFORE WE CAN EVEN HAVE IT IN THE OVEN."Bye this time I was 15 minutes into my 30 minute lunch. I calmly walked out all I can say is thank God for taco bell lmaoI will never be visiting that location again to say the least
Completely unsatisfied, we ordered the pizza and wings at 11:30am for pick up at 14:30.We arrived at 14:30 and were informed that the pizza would take 7 more minutes. Okay no biggie we thought, we love racanellis.5 minutes after they informed us that our boneless wings were sold out, okay whatever,but we couldn’t get a refund and were offered bone in wings instead (we paid for boneless).So far I wasn’t thinking twice about it, what it really got me was that they gave us our pizza at 14:55 (I’m sorry but I ordered this 3 hours ahead); and the cherry on top was that the chicken wings tasted like old chicken (you know when you grab chicken and put it in the microwave after 1 day of being in the fridge, that sort of flavor).I love Racanelli’s, I won’t be coming back to this location, it is sad given the prime location and the great product they carry at the other place.
I enjoy their pizza, but the last several times they skimped on the toppings. They charge $1.50 for each topping on their 10" pizza. We ordered italian sausage, onions and green peppers. Couldn't see the onion, sparse sausage and could only see specs of green peppers on about 3 pieces.
I give this place 0 ⭐️‘s! Went there for lunch ordered and asked for 2 separate orders. The cashier put everything on one check and just split it in half. When I told her that she over charged me, she said she already rang it up and couldn’t change it. The only drink options they had were either Root Beer or Diet Coke. The cashier was super rude. I ended up just canceling my order. Service was Dumpster Water Juice Level TRASH!
I got the 18 inch deluxe and my goodness, it did not disappoint. Toppings in every bite. Authentic big foldable slices. All that was missing was the oil dripping from the pepperoni ?. Well worth the price and the wait.
I will never return to this location. The young lady did not have good customer service. She did not make me feel welcomed at all. They were not organized. Staff were cursing. A lady was on FACETIME while on the clock. A young lady that works near by was able to walk in the back where they prepared food… TERRIBLE I wish I didn’t have to give a star…
The lettuce was wilted and dry. What a waste of money on my salad.I wanted a meat lovers pizza and they said they were out of sausage.Get your pizza from QT it’s so much better then this high priced food.
Staff is very rude. Will never come back. He got upset about me coming inside to my pick up which I didn’t know they were doing curbside only because the doors were open/unlocked. “Get out the store” is that how you talk to customers? Then he didn’t ask what kind of car I was in for the curbside or anything. I will not come back. Member name was tim!

Just as rude and poorly run as the Kirkwood location. Tells me I'm not important because I'm just deliver I'm just delivering uber eats. I read about your restaurant and how you take so much pride in them, if so you need to get hands on and address the issues. I posted about your Kirkwood location the rudeness toward African Americans and my food being good the 1st time and lousy the next 2.
Native New Yorker here… if you’ve never had New York pizza… I promise you this is not it. The closest so far I’ve tasted has been Dewey’s. But I leave the 1 star for this location specifically because they bait and switch you with prices. The pizza that I ordered was listed as $20 on their window. I was charged $30… explain that to me. After I brought it up, the employee mumbled something and could care less. Fine. But as I was waiting for the pizza inside, I could see the employees in the kitchen being unhygienic- not wearing masks around food or using gloves and then handling cash register, money, phones, etc.
This location never disappoints. Pizza is always amazing! Got the wings today and they were really good. Stop by for a slice or a pie if your in the area. You can thank me later!
Staff were absolutely terrible. We were the only ones in there and even though they saw us they just all stood in the back carrying on their conversation. We literally had to stand there 15 minutes just to pick up our order (that was already done and just sitting there). They were rude as could be, acting like we were inconveniencing their conversation. And when they finally did bring it out they didn't even give me the extra sauces I paid for and tried arguing with me about it. I usually only give good reviews but this was just a terrible experience and I won't be coming back to this location for expensive sub par food and some of the worst customer service possible ever again. Made an online order through racanelli‘s.com at 7:03 on the 21st went to pick it up at 7:50 and they told me the store was closed I asked him about my order they said “oh we don’t receive our online orders, you’ll get your money refunded back on the card” however it’s 4 days later the money‘s still gone from my card and I have not received any contact back from the store! very unfortunate seeing how when we lived in St. Louis we ate there a lot. We came back for a couple Dr appts for my daughter at the children’s hospital. We go back every 6 months and it’s a restaurant we frequent but will no longer be ordering from there the past few times the experience has been unpleasant and this time they stole for me!
