Perfect for a nice lunch and stroll through the garden.

We visited during the Garden Glow and purchased dinner tickets for $16/person.We ordered the Chicken Sheppard's Pie. It looked more like a stew than a Sheppard's Pie. Flavors were bountiful and with an amazing blend of chicken chunks, mushrooms, and potato chunks (what they called tater tots).Four of five stars only because menu was very limited.

Super unique chicken and waffle combo, decent selection and cheap coffee just on the other side. Food came out fast. Only gripe is each item is not a lot of food.

Ordered two dine and glow. Food never came with many people that ordered well after us getting their food we talked to staff and they said our food would be right out. We were brought the wrong food (Shepard pie and meatloaf were brought two salads). They said they would fix after 1 hour 15 minutes from initial order they still didn't have our food and couldn't get refund since did dine and glow. Terrible service. Avoid

I typically get the chicken shwama. Bought found out yesterday they no longer have it. So I got a cheese burger. It was disgusting. rubbery and weird taste. They need to get off menu and bring back Chicken Shwama!

Staff was nice, space was beautiful. The food and non alcoholic drink selection was good, not great, but the wine and beer choices seemed impressive, although we did not partake.

The butternut caramelized onion soup of the day had a good flavor but was not hot when it arrived. The ham sandwich on brown bread with Gouda was tasty with the dill pickles as a surprise crunch to the sandwich that was appreciated. The big disappointment was the coffee. It cost more than the fountain drink, but unlike the fountain drinks when I asked I was told I could not get free refills. I received the coffee from the counter where I ordered. Then had to go over and add the cream on another location before locating a seat. While I would not make a special trip here to eat, it was ok for a visit to the Botanical Gardens.Parking: Parking in lot with Missouri Botanical Garden

The view is the real attraction, but the food is pretty good too. It's counter service, but the ingredients are fresh and the food is well prepared. In fair weather you can enjoy your meal or beverage outside -- lovely!

Menu has fewer vegan option salads than a few months ago. Perhaps our cashier was new and still in training because questions about exceptions were answered as either " I don't know " or " I can't do that on the computer". We asked if anyone in the restaurant did know and, then, the person went into the kitchen to seek answers to our questions. It would have been appreciated if an attempt to find out that information had been offered, proactively, by the person taking our orders.

The service can be a bit slower at lunch rush, but the food was fresh and delicious. Delightful patio with some shade.

Had lunch on 9/11. Food was good but the 5-star rating is due to the service. Every young server that came to our table was friendly, upbeat and helpful, which was very refreshing in a time when indifferent service is the norm.

Went for an evening event, and it was a wait in long line to order. But worth it for food and garden patio. May not be a wait during regular hours.
