One of the grand things about outdoor seating is that if the staff can't get to the table to clean it in time, sometimes the birds would come and eat what the customers have left behind. And who needs their Ipads for their music when the birds can provide a concert for you! Now for visitors without a car, this place is served by MetroBus route number 8 and Metro Call-a-Ride.
This is a nice place to get a bite to eat inside the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The menu selection isn't huge but they have some sandwiches and salads as well as some brunch options. The large patio is a great place to eat especially when the weather is nice.
I just had the best customer service experience at Sassafras thanks to the manager, Tiffany Prince. She went above and beyond for me even though she was off duty and clearly on her way home. I asked another employee about the salad I ordered because I have been having some digestive issues and the salad ended up having some items that I couldn’t eat. I wasn’t even looking for any accommodations, I just wanted to know how I could order to avoid my mistake in the future. Tiffany...
