Science Cafe Reviews
We went to the science center for the Dr Who show and to go to the planetarium- the science center staff were excellent with being prompt and courteous and getting us to and from the planetarium- my husband uses a wheelchair so needed to access the planetarium through the elevator. We had fun with all the interactive exhibits, and I loved seeing the ag science geared section with garden beds, chickens, and information about rural life and agricultural production.

Science Cafe is an exciting place to take children and learn about different areas of science. With tracks, courses, radar guns, and binoculars, it provides a unique experience. Visitors can enjoy amazing dome shows like "Tonight's Sky" and interactive exhibits. The staff is excellent, offering prompt and friendly service, especially for wheelchair users. The center features an agriculture section with garden beds and chickens, giving insights into rural life and farming. Highlights include a Blue Angels F-18 on loan (as of June 2025) and a Pompeii exhibit available this summer. The center is perfect for family fun and learning, with engaging displays like a life-sized Nintendo and a fascinating animatronic T-Rex. It is a place where childhood memories come alive, making it ideal for kids and adults alike. Visitors also enjoy the planetarium shows, which are easy to access with online ticketing, and the science demonstrations, especially the fire show that kids and adults find entertaining. The entire experience is free, with parking costing around $10, and visitors can spend about 2 to 3 hours exploring the exhibits and watching shows.
