Iced mocha was delicious, kolache was good also. Nice atmosphere. There were quite a bit of customers when I went, but the only conversation I heard was the one I was a part of. Staff are friendly and helpful.
My friend told me about Shaw's Coffee half a year ago. As a regional coffee connoisseur, I added it to my STL coffee list and popped in one random day.
The building itself is stunning, the high ceilings and gorgeous tin ceiling make it feel cozy even on the rainiest of days. There are a handful of tables inside and outside of Shaw's and can be hard to score on the weekend. I suggest asking a lone person at a 4 top if they wouldn't mind sharing...

What a lovely coffee shop! I am from Boston & have a pretty high standard for a good latte and ambience, but I was obsessed with this place. There was literal tiny trees inside and a super cool old bank safe room with a beautiful painting. They had some seating and big windows that let the light in excellently. Would recommend
