This is a good place to eat, and it's a survivor. A car crashed into the last location. It survived COVID. The owners always find a way. Food, drink, and music - all made by real people. This is one of Saint Louis' gems.

Food was good but service was not so great. They had their sous chef serving people and cooking which resulted in a two dollar tip. I got my drinks at the time of my order and was never offered or server was not around long enough to get a refill. Asked for extra cornbread at the beginning of my meal and was served at the end when I had to leave to go to another engagement. There was another lady there that seemed to be an excellent server to her tables but she was not my server. However she was very confrontational regarding the $2 tip that reflected my service. I feel as if she was the one serving me I would have had better service and her tip would have been over what she requested. Food is amazing. Just need better servers and customer service skills. As a server myself, I make great tips but that’s because I wait on my customers hands and feet and make sure they are good. They have now loss a frequent flier (my aunt) and many others because of my experience and others have stated they have had similar experiences.
You’re running away your customers and potentially long standing customers who are really trying to support small businesses.. again love the food. Also, this was my first time here. Also my cousin was there an hour before me and order more than me and did not tip at all. I’m unsure why the $2 I tipped you made Pamela so upset and she was not even the one who serviced me. If she would have serviced me I truly believe my service would have been amazing.
Thank you to your chef the food was amazing.

I've been a fan since their days on way-south Grand, but I have to share the incredible experience we had when I booked a 30-40 person event in their side room. I stopped by and talked to Pam in person to start the conversation, and she was so helpful with support and ideas right from the start.
Over the next few weeks we kept in touch with small details, but I trusted her when she said they could handle anything and I let her 'cook'. When the day came her sister Denise was the lead at the bar, and the longtime everything guy JJ ran it all from the kitchen. We had a great 40+ turnout and they kept everyone happy and full with wave after wave of their fabulous tasting food from the kitchen! PoBoys, ribs, catfish, and more! Everyone left with nothing but good to say about the place and the food.
It's a great place to get lunch or dinner, but don't forget about them the next time you want to choose an exceptional low-key event space!

Disgusting food!!! Will not refund or offer any compensation for what they are serving. Customer is awful and owner won’t even come out to speak about their mistake

If you like Creole food then this is the place to eat. The gumbo and etouffee are great. Shrimp and grits with the sweet corn bread is soooo good. Love this food.

Upon arrival noticed a quaint side of town in St.Louis. We were greeted by a waitstaff who was hospitable and libatious. Ordered the smoked wings and they did not disappoint, they were smoked yet still moist and juicy. So much so I ordered them as my meal with a side of red beans. Beans were cool, was missing some andouille sausage (but I'm not in New Orleans). My guy ordered the smothered catfish and he said it was spectacular, he got it with the dirty rice for a small upcharge - good portion size for the cost. All in all, a great experience. If you're ever in St.Louis, and enjoy a lil taste of New Orleans, stop by and try em out.

The food was incredible, though a bit expensive, but definitely worth it. I ordered the Cajun pasta, while the handsome guy I was with had red beans and rice along with gumbo. We will be back soon
