We waited for a long time, then waited for a long time for our appetizers, then waited for a long time for our food. Two of us took nearly 3 hours from entrance to exit. We shared a table with another couple and they ordered when we did. Their entrees came out 5 minutes before our appetizers did. Not a great first experience.

EDIT: We went back to give it a second shot. I had the mideo (eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits) in an attempt for something safe. My partner had a burrito (christmas). All things were tasty! I'll update food to 4/5 (from 2/5), overall to 3/5 (from 2/5). I'm going to leave service and atmosphere where they were because the atmosphere didn't change. The service took forever. We ordered coffee and then sat there for ten minutes before receiving said coffee. We ordered our food, then sat there for another ten minutes before the server came back to clarify our orders before putting them in. They weren't busy; the server just had found other tables to chat with whom they knew. I appreciate a diner where servers know their tables. I frequent one in Webster that clearly knows their clients. That said, to completely ignore the new clientele is to shoot yourself in the foot. The food wasn't worth returning for the quality of service.

The best biscuits and gravy I've ever had, hands down! Everyone was super friendly and my whole party loved their food choices. A must-visit.

Bloody Mary was good. If you don't want it too spicy the bar can adjust it. Biscuit and gravy yum.

Atmosphere and food good...service sucked. Waitress was rude to my guy and I at the end...what a shame

Parking: Place is awesome and spacious....waitress in outdoor area not nice. Must have needed a nap....
Go ahead and go..I found it comical.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Biscuits & gravy are both homemade from scratch, so darn yummy. Then, hear me out, corn meal pancakes, and such a difference yet so good. I love getting my hot chocolate with Baileys too. Yes, they have booze. Staff can be a hit or muss, but most times, it's pretty good.

Loved this small neighborhood diner pre-covid. I just remember the food being better. Now, pretty bland and thrown together. Diner is still nostalgic and clean. Love the atmosphere and service. Just not the best food quality this last visit. We had 5 of us with all saying the same thing. I will not smear them as maybe it was just a bad cooking day but I won't be rushing back anytime soon either.

The food here at the Southwest diner is excellent. I highly recommend the pancakes. The customer service here is very good and the atmosphere is awesome. I love sitting at the counter bar that they had because I was by myself and everybody was so friendly!

We heard this place gets crazy busy but, we got right in mid-morning on a Wednesday. It wasn't busy. I had the supreme huevos rancheros and my girlfriend had the cornmeal pancakes. We enjoyed both.
Unfortunately, service was bad enough that I need to mention it.

Looking For an upbeat, delicious brunch? Here’s a good one! We arrived Less than one hour before they close and every Table, but one was busy. Loved the energy and the workers never stopped. Johnny was our server. He kept our beverages full and our food was delicious. We’ve been here a few other times and look forward to coming back!
