We came here cuz we seen this place featured on TV many years ago, and wanted to try it. I got the El Fuego burger and chili, the chili was EXCELLENT...the burger was pretty good. My wife had a chicken sandwich and fries, her sandwich was EXCELLENT!!! Serice was excellent, and the place had a pretty cool vibe.
Always great!! BEST BURGER In the Lou!

I have never felt more ripped off than tonight, it was my 25th wedding anniversary and I didn’t want to say anything and ruin my wife’s day. But I paid $53 and change and my dog wouldn’t eat the leftovers and she eats everything. I did my burger my way but it was terrible! The burger was supposed to be medium and it was well done! Yuck.. also I got chili cheese fries and the chili was so sour it was un edible. I thought it was me but I let my wife try it and she said it almost made her sick. I’ve never gotten chili cheese fries that taste out that way it was disgusting. I had it made the way I wanted with two types of cheese, provolone and cheddar and then I use the same sauce on it that they put Max sauce and I thought they were use iceberg lettuce, shredded but they gave me a single piece of green leaf lettuce, I guess it is really hard to eat and then I ordered it without onions because I’m all allergic and the darn thing had onions all over place in it. It made me so mad because I didn’t want onions because of my allergies and I had to deal with that all way home and while I’m laying in bed now.
I won’t ever recommend this place to anybody for anything and there’s no way I can ever get my $53 back, but I don’t even think it’s worth when McDonald’s sells and they have a little thin fluffy disc look like hockey parks that they pass off as hamburger meat. This is ridiculous. If anybody were asking me my opinion, it would be very strong and telling you don’t ever go there don’t waste your money surely not $53 even if it is your anniversary

Busy restaurant, Waited 10 minutes for a table. Another 10 minutes before the owner came and asked for my drink order, the server arrived 5minutes later . I Built my own burger with texas toast, caramelized onions 1000 island dressing ,mushrooms and provolone cheese. Good burger over all Server never came to check on me .Service could use some improvement.

We had a TOP TIER experience here!! I love their original location, so when I saw they were opening a location closer to me, I had to take my boyfriend to check it out. We decided to do takeout since we both had to be up early. We accidentally ordered to the wrong location, and since it was the second day of their new location they didn't have online ordering yet here, and we neglected to check the address. They could not have handled that situation better. They apologized (it wasn't even their fault), made our burgers super fresh and super fast, and even threw in a couple pie bites (incredible btw). The manager/owner even came out and literally shook our hands to introduce himself and personally apologize for the mix-up (again, not their fault). But let's get to what really matters: the burgers. Some of the best we've had in STL and pretty much anywhere around. You can choose so many different toppings, they give you a sheet so you can check off as many toppings as you want on your burger. Truly a phenomenal place. Don't even get me started on the sweet potato fries. Anyway, if you're looking for a local spot with great food, great atmosphere, and top tier customer service with a real community feel, go to Stacked.

One very, very good burger. Stacked does everything right. Easy to order, friendly service. Very affordable. You might wait a little longer only because they don't start until the order is in. Awesome place!

Nate was the sweetest server to ever exist. He felt that our food was cooked wrong and immediately had them redo it, brought us a free beer, and gave us a coupon. I didn't catch the managers name but he was such a stand up guy. The food was incredible but to me the service and care they put into your experience really sets them apart. I also felt that the prices were incredible for how much food you got. My only thing I didn't like was there was an orange sauce that came with my fried pickles that made me want to die it was so hot, so if you don't like spicy don't try that sauce but the fried pickles and wings are amazing

Nestled in the heart of St. Louis, Stacked presents itself as a trendy burger joint with a focus on quality ingredients and inventive twists on classic comfort food. With its contemporary atmosphere and promise of premium grass-fed beef, it seems like a great spot for burger enthusiasts. However, despite its well-curated ambiance and a menu that ticks many boxes, my recent experience left much to be desired, especially regarding the core of the burger experience.
To start with the positives, the service at Stacked was attentive, and the restaurant’s modern, casual vibe creates a welcoming environment for patrons. The drink list, featuring craft beers and creative cocktails, paired well with the burger offerings.
Unfortunately, the burger itself didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered the grass-fed beef patty cooked medium, which is typically the sweet spot for achieving that juicy, flavorful balance. However, what arrived was an overcooked patty that lacked any of the tenderness or pinkness one would hope for in a medium burger. The meat was dry and almost chalky, robbing the burger of its potential juiciness and flavor. For a grass-fed patty, which is often leaner, there’s an extra emphasis on cooking it just right — something that, in this case, seemed to be missed entirely.
The burger’s buns also fell short. Rather than the soft, slightly toasted texture that complements a good burger, the buns were stale and dry, almost as if they had been sitting around for longer than they should have. This outdated bread didn’t do the fresh ingredients or the burger any justice, and ultimately, it detracted from the overall experience.
In terms of flavor, Stacked’s potential is evident — the toppings and sauce choices were fresh and well-balanced, and the fries were crispy and satisfying. But when the fundamentals of a burger — the meat and the bun — aren’t up to standard, it’s hard to overlook.
At the end of the day, Stacked shows promise, but consistency and attention to detail are needed to elevate it to the level it aspires to be. With some adjustments to how the burgers are cooked and a more consistent quality of ingredients, this spot could easily make a stronger mark on St. Louis’ competitive burger scene. As it stands, though, it’s a bit of a letdown for those seeking a truly memorable burger experience.
**Rating: 2.5/5**
— For those in search of a great burger, Stacked might not hit the mark just yet.

My daughter has a gluten allergy. It stated they had options available for her so we went with a group of 14. The menu at the bottom shows a wheat symbol and says “this symbol means it contains gluten” only 30% of the items that contain gluten on that menu are marked. They didn’t even mark the breaded chicken tenders as containing gluten. When I asked if they had an allergy friendly menu available the server didn’t even say yes or no just “if you think it has gluten it definitely does” My daughter got severely glutened off a cheese burger with GF bun and broccoli. When I asked the serve he said “we don’t change gloves for allergies” so this is likely where the glutening happened for my daughter. Then we were hit with gratuity. The server missed out on a $100 tip because we were given $60 in gratuity for our party. Very upset at the lack of care given to my daughter’s food and the very inappropriately marked menu. Why even go the extra to add a symbol if you won’t mark the entire menu correctly? Wasn’t worth the $300 bill we had.
