My steakburger with cheese was the traditional smash-burger I remember always getting. But, my favorite, the chili...what happened? OMG! It is nothing like the original. This is no steak-n-shake chili I ever had. Not even what is in the can that you can purchase from the store. That's where I will get my chili from now on. The customer service was exceptional.

This is the second time I got the chili Mac from this location. I don’t know if they changed the recipe because before that it used to be great especially the red sauce now , all watery and nothing like it used to taste and I get extra sauce ,extra beef this time they did not give me what I asked for. very disappointed they should have never changed the recipe

I had heard that this location has significantly improved since the last time I was here (many months ago) and it most definitely has! The whole restaurant is very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They have the kiosks for ordering but if you need anything, the staff is very accommodating and attentive. The food was ready very quick and it was great quality. We will definitely be back to this location!
Inside diners get a code to scan a drink and a refill. Steak and shake has suffered loss because of people stealing soft drinks. I am sure this is unpopular, but it is due to simple dishonesty over a minor thing.

I can’t lie, I love Steak N Shake but the new butter burger I had today almost took me out! It was way too much butter on there for me. I get I got a butter burger but that was just way too much butter to have me choking. I tried to push through but I just had to put it on another slice of bread. The milkshake was good though. The guy in drive through had great customer service also.

My first Steak 'n Shake when I ate here circa 1960.Back then there was only a small counter, and car hops. It was a real treat for us to eat here. I've added a picture of a Steak 'n Shake that looked identical to the one originally at this location.

Honestly, first time in a S&S since table service was removed and kiosk screen ordering in place. The food was great, employees were nice but something was missing.
Lunch is good, why don't they serve breakfast anymore that was really good!!! That would get 5 stars.

I am a steak and shake employee I just started a couple weeks ago. I know a lot of these reviews were put in before I started working, I also understand a lot of customers aren’t happy about the customer service experience or the lack of cleanliness. I work very hard every night to make sure the floors are clean, tables are wiped down, bathrooms are clean, kitchen is clean and to make sure to provide excellent customer service to make you feel welcome. I know sometimes we might be falling behind on orders but it’s just overwhelming because I try to get their orders done as quickly as possible.
