When you visit or if you live in St. Louis, you must visit Stone Turtle! The food and service was AMAZING! Great atmosphere, great service, and DELICIOUS FOOD! There are options for everyone. I had the Brisket Dip and I give it a chef's kiss!! The brisket was seasoned and cooked perfectly! I must warn you the sandwich is massive! I shared it with a friend who ordered the Salmon which was juicy & also cooked to perfection (med rare)! Everyone enjoyed the food, desserts, and drinks. (The pics are from their website but the food looked just like the pics! We started eating immediately so I couldn't take pics.. sorry) :)

The food was delicious as always! We had 2 people that were there for the 1st time and they loved it!
We always enjoy Stone Turtle. The food was great and the service was on point. The fondue board was fantastic. I wish I would have taken my server's recommendation regarding my side.
Food was awesome and they have a huge selection of spirits.

Excellent service, unfortunately they were out of the dish I was hoping to have, but I guess I'll have to go back. ;)
This was a disappointing experience - especially with regard to wait times. My sister & I had to wait about 10 minutes for our server to come to our table. They we waited about 20 minutes for our drinks. Then, 10 minutes later, after we received her salad and my appetizer, we had to wait about 40 minutes for our entrees. My Italian Spritz cocktail was light and refreshing. The Tiger Rolls appetizer was pretty good. It's kind of like an egg roll version of crab rangoon. They were served with cilantro jam dipping sauce, which was OK. I pretty much just ate my Tiger Rolls on their own. Regarding my entree, my pork chop was delicious, and cooked to a perfect medium. However, the cheddar grits that came with it, while they were flavorful, were overcooked and lumpy. Also, the Brussels sprouts side item probably could've used some more roasting. The pork chop was the most enjoyable item on my plate. It appeared as though they were understaffed for the evening. Our server apologized for the excessive wait times, informing us that the kitchen was getting slammed. Nevertheless, having to wait so long for our food prevented us from having an enjoyable meal.
The food was amazing. Our server John was very professional and attentive he helped make our Christmas brunch merry.

Had a wonderful evening at The Stone Turtle. The whiskey selection is excellent, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food was outstanding. A place that clearly cares about what they’re doing.

We loved almost everything about our experience — except for an unacceptable delay in receiving our dinner. We started with a couple of starters/bar snacks: the portabella croutons and the fried cheese. Both were excellent. My friends and my wife ordered cocktails that were very good and reasonably priced.
We placed our dinner order and waited about 35–40 minutes. After watching several tables that arrived and ordered well after us receive their food, we finally asked about our meals since we had tickets to a show. We arrived a little before 6:00 PM, giving ourselves an hour to eat and enough time to get to our 7:30 show. We were told a mistake had been made by the server and that our food was being worked on at that point.
Our meals finally arrived after roughly 45–50 minutes, leaving us about five minutes to eat. The food itself was very good. My friend didn’t love his fried fish — I think the cornmeal coating just wasn’t to his taste. I loved my salmon, and my wife thought her burger and fries were excellent.
The manager did check in and tried to help, but someone should have noticed how long we were waiting — especially in a restaurant that size. What really disappointed us was that nothing was offered to make up for the delay, the stress, or the rush to finish our meals. Not a drink, not a dessert to go, not even comping the two $6 starters. Just a “sorry, the server made a mistake,” and that was it. A small gesture — even inviting us back for a cocktail after the show or on a future visit — would have gone a long way. But unfortunately, nothing was offered, which didn’t feel very classy on Stone Turtle’s part.
That said, we liked the place enough that we’ll probably give it another try. It’s a fun spot in a great part of St. Louis with a good atmosphere. I still encourage you to check it out — just hope your timing goes more smoothly than ours.

Visited for the first time and could not have been more pleased. The Pork Belly cashew starter was delicious, my cesear salad was one of the best I'd ever had and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Genesis our server was a delight!

We absolutely love Stone Turtle — it’s one of our favorite go-to spots in town. The food is consistently phenomenal and the drinks are just as fantastic. What really sets it apart, though, is the atmosphere. It’s relaxed and welcoming, never too loud, and the bar area has TVs without sound so they don’t intrude on conversation. The lighting is low but perfectly cozy, and the staff is always warm and friendly.
Stone Turtle strikes the perfect balance of great flavors, great drinks, and a great vibe. Highly recommend!
